I'mma be blasted for this post, but.
What if there's an Asteroid type. Logically this would be a whole " WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" but in a actual lore and reality perspective, this hits a whole. wait a minute. it's effective against, Ground, Rock, Steel, Fire and Ice (this is a technical glass canon route)
Resists - Normal, Fighting, Flying, Poison, Water, Grass, Psychic and Dark.
Weak to - Electric, Fire and Ice ( I mean they're constantly in space, plus they burn up, they're blasted by Solar Winds, and Cosmic Radiation all the time. And it's usually cold.)
Neutral to - Bug, Dragon, Fairy, and Ghost.
and are immune to - Steel, Ground and Rock.
This is a "strong powerful type, but it's also a restriction of" it's perhaps too frail in the process.
Ingame lore it can be described as
" We recently uncovered the truth of 3 particular Pokemon that are minerals from space. Their biology and types do not make much sense as they're not regular old rock types. We've decided to call them a Jack of all trades, a higher typing of species, Asteroid types."
I........just love space, astronomy. it's something I wanna focus in one day, and I thought about venting it in this post because really. I just like Space and Pokemon should've introduced an Asteroid type to move a few pokemon for it. but that's just me though.
Just for a funny jab, think of it like this, it's getting beat up by the Elemental Punches and Fangs, but somehow is completely immune to Meteor Mash and Meteor Beams
