If they asked me to post a pic that best represents Steve and his BAMF, zero-f$cks-given, you’re-gonna-do-everything-I-say-right-now attitude it would be this one. He’s gloriously perfect and lethal at the same time and I would do anything he asked.

The funny thing is that from the outside, writing a novel looks like:
1. Have idea.
2. Write book.
3. Publish book.
While in reality it’s more like:
1. Have idea.
2. Discover the story isn’t actually about what you thought.
3. Rewrite.
4. Realize half the characters are flat.
5. Rewrite.
6. Discover the theme.
7. Rewrite.
8. Discover the villain is underdeveloped.
9. Rewrite.
10. Realize Chapter 4 accidentally foreshadows Chapter 22 and now that’s important.
11. Rewrite.
12. Wonder why you started this.
13. Rewrite.
14. Fall in love with the story again.
15. Rewrite.
I am currently somewhere between rewrite 9 and 11 and I’ve been told I’m looking at at least two more drafts so I’m headed straight to the “wonder why you started this” part…
"I never think about you at all"
regularly thinking about Danny disliking Steve at first bc he thinks Steve sees himself as invincible and better than everyone, until he realizes that Steve just doesn't have any regards for his own life and is afraid of losing people...
Steve also would always choose to die with someone (Danny) instead of losing them and continue living.
He does this in s3 e6 when Danny is threatened by the bomb and in s5 e18 when he tries to get arrested with Danny bc he knows he'll get killed there.
And I think my fav example of Steve's behavior is s8 e9 and e10, bc in e9 they're all infected by the virus, including him and he is totally calm and accepting his fate. While in e9 when Danny gets shot he is the most stressed and freaked out I have ever seen him.
McDanno at last!!!!!!

staying up really late is comforting. the world stops expecting things from you. it’s just quiet for a while.

"It's just a TV show" maybe to you. I absorbed it into my soul though.

fanfic writers will go "anyone gonna explore the kinda fucked up or emotionally impactful implications of this minor canon detail?" and then not wait for an answer.
That makes sense.
It’s been a while since I watched H50 fan videos… and then a fellow fan recommended this *sigh*
