I’m reaching out to people who run fandom discords in fandoms I’m in, and I just realized that the most recent thing on my blog right now is Ratatouille/Miraculous Ladybug rat cosplay.

So if you’re here vetting me as a potential member of your fandom discord, please know that this started as a fandom discord joke and, despite its ridiculousness, proves that I participate in fan communities. I’m a fairly prolific fic writer, and I love beta reading.

And if any of my followers know about or have access to discords or other fan community spaces in the Leverage, BBC Merlin, or Elementary fandoms, please please let me know. Leverage and Elementary are having revivals right now, so I’m a teensy bit hopeful.

Normally when I start watching a well-established show, one of the most interesting parts is joining the fandom on tumblr. When I started watching POI, that fandom welcomed me with open arms. Same when I started watching The 100. The list goes on. Shit goes down within the fandoms, but they never try to make you feel excluded from the fandom. Which is exactly what's happening now. Elementary fandom, you have disappointed me. If you don't want me, that's fine, but then LEAVE ME ALONE, let me watch the show in peace, and for the love of God, please stop accusing me of racism, because you don't even know how wrong you are. I don't know if this is what all of the fans of this show are like, but it's most of the ones I've interacted with. I don't know. Maybe people will prove me wrong. But this doesn't seem like a fandom I want to be a part of, and that's entirely a reflection on you guys. Well done, Elementary fandom. Thanks a lot.

Are you willing to share what kind of AU?

It's pretty much an alternative first meeting au fic.  NYPD, Forensics or Medical Examiner universe. I haven't decided which yet. Hoping that the research will help form my plot.
