4. Who is the most misunderstood character?
i gotta say javier. in the first game, john mentions that he has a lot of passion, but no love, and i disagree with this because in the second game we see that he does. he sings and plays his guitar for the girls while they work, keeping them company when no one else does. he literally tells the gang they’re his family, his home. he loves dutch, and everyone else in the gang. yes, he left arthur and john, but only because he saw no other choice, and dutch had saved his life more than once; he owed everything to him. i just think javier had so much promise, but he was failed by the one man he truly believed in. and that’s what broke him in the end.
11. Do you believe Jack is John’s son? If not then who do you think it is?
absolutely. i’ve always believed he is, despite the arguments that he isn’t. he may have similar facial hair to javier when he grows up, as people like to point out, but that man looks exactly like john. and notice:
javier isn’t even with the gang yet in this photo. the only other men that could have gotten abigail pregnant are arthur, dutch and bill. can ya’ll really see arthur coming near her after mary and eliza? or dutch, a man 20+ years older than her? ya’ll think hosea would let that shit slide? and bill, who’s literally gay? come on ya’ll. he’s john’s.
18. Which gang member do you wish Arthur interacted with more?
honestly hosea! i know they get a few missions together, but i just wish we could’ve seen more of them. hosea was his real father figure and the only one to truly see arthur for how smart and good he was. they both deserved so much more :’(
