The Faithful when they see Elrond for the first time:
Happy birthday to Lloyd Owen!
I wanted to take the opportunity to share my love for Elendil, my other favorite character.
I think we couldn't have wished for anyone better than Lloyd Owen to portray him. His journey is the one I'm looking most forward to truly and his story in s2 was so heartbreaking and also really resonated with me. This man is carrying so much weight alone on his shoulders. 💙✨️
(Stay tuned for an unhinged au fic dropping later.)
And on the other hand was the lesser party, and they were called the Elendili, the Elf-friends; for though they remained loyal indeed to the King and the House of Elros, they wished to keep the friendship of the Eldar, and they hearkened to the counsel of the Lords of the West. ~ The Silmarillion, Akallabêth (Elendili, the Elf Friends) #thedownfallofnumenor

Chapter 4: "What are my words worth"
A little fic update from me, as I reach the chapter that sparked my motivation to write this story in the first place. Ever since Elendil mentioned in 1x03 what he had told Anárion before he left for the West I was curious about said talk, and possible argument. I always felt that the mention of Anárion in that scene implied a bigger argument, perhaps a long-going one, still grounded in an understanding between the two. This is a version of that. I also wanted to make an edit of them since they are perhaps my most anticipated duo of season 3 (after reunion with Isildur). Putting them together in this edit really hit me how these actors resemble each other too! (The picture of Andrew Richardson is from his film "Jack London's Martin Eden", 2021.)

Elendil and Anárion finally speak to each other alone and confronts hard truths that has been bothering them for a long time.
