Today on friends group chat: Johannes Brahms was a regulation hottie.
And on the other hand was the lesser party, and they were called the Elendili, the Elf-friends; for though they remained loyal indeed to the King and the House of Elros, they wished to keep the friendship of the Eldar, and they hearkened to the counsel of the Lords of the West. ~ The Silmarillion, Akallabêth (Elendili, the Elf Friends) #thedownfallofnumenor
Today was so nice outside! Like it was a bit warm for my taste but there was a nice strong breeze. I was doing some yard work while my companions were just hanging around outside. When there was a big gust of wind, C would open her wings and just let it carry her up by the tops of the trees and then glide back down while looking for cats to say hi to 😺 She was like a kite with a cat radar device lol V, A, and S mostly sat and enjoyed the moment or looked around at the plants and bugs. And even tho I still have trouble sensing and communicating sometimes, these little moments of quiet togetherness are just so comforting. It's just so content and warm. And I remember why I want to pursue this path
Warm and Soft
Therefore the kings of the three houses of the Noldor, seeing hope of strength in the sons of Men, sent word that any of the Edain that wished might remove and come to dwell among their people. ~ The Silmarillion, Chapter 17 (The Three Houses of the Edain)
But when after a year had passed Felagund wished to return to his own country, Bëor begged leave to come with him; and he remained in the service of the King of Nargothrond while his life lasted. ~ The Silmarillion, Chapter 17 (Silmarillion heraldry: Beor by Aglargon, deviantART)
…but that a darkness lay upon the hearts of Men (as the shadow of the Kinslaying and the Doom of Mandos lay upon the Noldor) they perceived clearly even in the people of the Elf-friends whom they first knew. ~ The Silmarillion, Chapter 17 (Elf Meets Men by annamare, deviantART)
