@pygme-puff ‘s amazing Alanna cosplay video I just reblogged reminded me that at one point in ITHOTG Jon and George were hanging out around town and George was like “Dude, you gotta meet my mom, she’s so cool you’re gonna love her” and Jon was like “Oh for real? Hell yeah bro, I would love to meet your mom, I feel like Alanna has mentioned her maybe?”

and then George was like “She’s the best, like seriously. I don’t tell just anybody about her, or let folks meet her, I have to protect her, you know?” and Jon was like “Totally, I get it. My mom is like so important to me too, and I’m also an only child, I get it. I’d be honored to be introduced to your mom, bro”

and George was like “Man, you’re such a good friend and I trust you, and you’re going to really like her. She’s a badass healer and she’s funny and tough, and honestly she’s gonna be chill and lowkey about it but she’ll be amped to meet you too. Meeting the prince might make her think I’m not such a shady bastard after all, haha”

and Jon was like “Say no more my man, I can’t wait- when do I get to meet your mom?” and then they went to Eleni’s house and Jon was apparently all awkward outside with the horses and the stable hand- I bet you he was trying his best not to be imperious and give away that he was a noble and went too far- and George was like “Just give him the horses dude, that’s his job stop being weird and come in and meet my mom” before being rudely interrupted by their mural desire for Alanna

Fic: Better Late Than Never

In honor of genderfluid Alanna and the fact that we’re getting a show, I polished up my Sir Myles Is Trans theory into an actual fic.

1/3 chapters. 740 words so far, feat. Sir Myles x Eleni Cooper.

Summary: Stealth trans Sir Myles thinks about The Plot, with a gradual morphing of sadness to fluff. Okay, mostly fluff. Fluff with the odd twist of sadness? Anyway. Theoretically canon compliant.
