Engineering (The Work/Life Balance). Noodler’s Luxury Blue Ink on Bristol. 29″ x 23″. 2017.
On Saturday, June 3rd, I’ll be part of a show at Machine House Brewery celebrating the reissue of Marc Barreca’s 1983 electronic album Music Works for Industry. RVNG Intl. is creating new pressings of obscure electronic albums, while curating visual artists to create work inspired by the music, and Seattle interdisciplinary artist Satpreet Kahlon and I were each selected to create work in response to Music Works for Industry. I’ll be debuting two large-scale original drawings along with some animation, and the show will feature live performances by Marc Barreca, Rosen, and Jed Bindeman. Swing by if you can! (The event is a production of Elevator Music and Freedom to Spend.) Photos by Adriana Guiman.
