Leaning against post outside of the cabin, pizza box takes all of the room in his hands. Coming out here on a school night wasn’t his idea, but he’d take any excuse to skip a class- tomorrow was senior ditch day, so it was no surprise when he got a call from a familiar voice in the afternoon, strongly discouraging him from participating without reason.

“Hopper wanted me to bring you dinner ⸻ said something about staying late on a case? Figured you could use some company.”
