Elves? Elves. Elves Good.
I got angry that the canon D&D universe has really bland elves so I made a lineup of the different elves in my homebrew universe (Ghost Drow and Ghost Shadar-Kai are homebrew races). Shadar Kai have feathery growths, tend to have a ton of piercings and heavily tattoo themselves. They also tend to have white eyes and grey or black sclera. Wood Elves are the result of Eladrin and Amali breeding, hence why Wood Elves have such fluffy ears, they also sometimes have manes growing across their spines, and sometimes have stripes or spots on their skin. Sun and Moon elves are true High Elves, and are standard. Drow are an offshoot of High Elves, and aren’t nearly as vicious as they are in canon. They’re still a bit nuts though. Seas elves are the result of elves breeding with tritons, and as a race they do not have breasts, they also have scales, and gills. Their ear fins and colouration change depending on location. Eladrin have floraly growths that range from moss to flowers to twigs. They often have patterns on their skin too!

a page out of my Facebook Past Photos book
This week I got in my wonderful glossy page coffee table book of last years photos on Facebook. My granddaughter Sophia loved the picture book , but could not stop laughing at the photo of the Elf on the Shelf in the toilet. Over and over she wanted to see that photo, even if it really wasn’t a real Elf on the Shelf but a Made in Japan 60s Elf instea…
