Yes!!! I’m finally going to see the Palais Garnier in person!!! :D I’m freaking out, in a good way. I just got my itineraries and maps finalized and saved to my phone. I get in on 30 July and leave on 8 August (and then I’ll be in Ireland for a conference from 8 August to 16 August), so it’ll be enough time to visit museums, as well as many of the streets that Leroux mentioned in Phantom. It’s my goal to buy something from the shop that occupies the space where the Persian’s flat used to be. I’m so excited! :D
