Flings are done. All six original sculpts from GW with Reaper Miniatures Treemen and a Buggy Puggy from Fanath as starplayer. The Team colours are based on Germany’s top football club Schalke 04.
That’s why they call it BLOOD BOWL.
Starting a halfling team, first fling done. I chose colours as a hommage to my local football club. Be prepared for the to the rise of SHIRE 04. True champions wear blue and white! ;)
My beloved Chaos Dwarfs got their long deserved repaint and two additional Bull Centaurs.
Blood Bowl: Dark Elf Team including starplayers Eldric Sidewinder, Tuern Redvenom and Harkon Heartripper. The ogre is joining the pointy ears for my Elfball games.
Foil Gaea's Anthem - Planar Chaos Deck: Ezuri Tiny Leaders
After taking a little break from Tumblr I'm back with fresh pics. Here's my new Orc Team for Blood Bowl. As I play BB 7s and Elf Ball with it, 10 Figures are enough for now. I will add an additional Blocker and Blitzer in the near future.
Legacy Elfball
Tomorrow is the SCG Legacy tourney in Baltimore where I'm running my Elfball deck. It's kind of a hybrid of second gen elfball with early ramp via creatures and getting a large part of the deck into play early and current gen elfball using Craterhoof and Ruric Thar to discourage opponent spells and bring the win with swarm instead of depending on a one shot (Emrakul/Fireballs). This way I have a few alternatives for endgame and a sideboard to help address specific threats. I tried it with Nettle Sentinels and Things like Heritage Druid and Birchlore Rangers but I didn't find it to be fast enough for my liking. It becomes too dependant on combo/set pieces. This way Everything contributes independently, so, barring board wipes, a loss of one piece doesn't shut me down. Current decklist is as follows:
Land:
4x Misty Rainforest
4x Forest
2x Stomping Ground
2x Breeding Pool
1x Dryad Arbor
1x Gaea's Cradle
Spells:
4x Glimpse of Nature
4x Concordant Crossroads
4x Green Sun's Zenith
3x Crop Rotation
2x Summoner's Pact
Creatures:
4x Elvish Mystic
4x Llanowar Elves
4x Arbor Elf
4x Fyndhorn Elves
3x Wirewood Symbiote
2x Deathrite Shaman
2x Elvish Visionary
2x Priest of Titania
1x Emrakul, The Aeons Torn
1x Craterhoof Behemoth
1x Ruric Thar, The Unbowed
1x Fauna Shaman
Sideboard:
2x Naturalize
2x Swan Song
2x Pithing Needle
3x Turn Aside
3x Surgical Extraction
1x Joraga Warcaller
1x Craterhoof Behemoth
1x Mistcutter Hydra
This may change a bit tomorrow if I can pick up some Natural Orders and some more Fauna Shamans. I want to replace the Summoner's Pacts with two more Fauna Shamans. and maybe sub two Green Suns for the Natural Orders. May also try to pick up a couple of Vitalize. Thoughts?
