This is Hotspur, the main character of a comic my dad’s been working on for a while now. In recent years, I’ve become a part of the project as well.

If there is one thing she knows about these ruins, it is that they are portals to the distant past. She moves closer to the window to read the old, ratty journal of a life long deceased. Despite their age, the isil-wafer pages still seem to glow in the soft moonlight. Perhaps tonight she will learn second-hand whether the stories of the Elders are true.
