1, 7, 19 & 23 just because 💙.
1) What are three shows in your watchlist that you’ve been meaning to get to?
Normal People has been on my list for ages, and I just haven’t been in the mood for anything heavy for awhile but I’ve been thinking lately about giving it a try.
Queen’s Gambit wasn’t really on my list, but my best friend spoke very highly of it and our taste overlaps a lot, so I’ve officially added it to the queue.
And I’ve been really really thinking about giving Friday Night Lights one more shot. I watched most of the first season like, a million years ago and was fully expecting to be hooked (I think Kyle Chandler is adorable, I love a good sports/underdog story, and I can get v sucked into some high school drama) and it just didn’t happen? My best friend and my mom have both yelled at me for years about how I watched it totally wrong the first time, so I’d like to give it another chance.
7) What color dominates your closet?
Lots of black/gray/neutrals, a smattering of red because it works with my coloring, and any striped shirt that’s ever been made in history.
19) What’s your favorite Halloween costume from when you were a kid?
As an adult looking back I think my first (technically second, bc I was born five days before halloween) halloween costume is cute - I was minnie mouse and my my mom took the dress off of a giant stuffed minnie I had and made a cute little headband with ears. I had a pink power ranger costume (#90skid) that I liked a lot at the time, and I know I did a princess/Glinda costume that I’m sure I enjoyed? Overall I was not *hugely* into halloween (aside from the candy), from what I remember (although I also have a horrible memory and remember so little of my childhood, haha).
23) Which songs do you like to sing in the shower?
I like to take very late night showers, so I don’t feel like I can play music to sing along to, so when the mood hits (I’m probably 50-50 on not singing/singing, maybe even more like 70/30) it’s gotta be something I have memorized...which means lots of broadway and some classic rock/folk/singer-songwriter jams (it might be Les Mis, it might be Jim Croce or Carole King, depends on the night).
