"Grow up" or whatever cause I've been self absorbed with an anime for at least 3yrs, but my meaning is "growing up through the fandom" not the people in the fandom but understanding the characters more.

Understand that Akutagawa didn't deserve what Dazai did to him. No matter if it was for training or not. No matter if it was to show him how strong he NEEDED to be. Growing up in a fandom that you truely never understood till you thoroughly look through the plot inside and out.

15!Dazai didn't kill cause he had to, he killed cause he could. If it was a matter of "you don't have to kill but you can" he would pick the latter. He killed and killed and killed cause that's all he knew basically how to do. But he still did, cause he had to option to. And yet he changed for odasakes dying wish.

Realising Chuuya wouldn't even be apart of Bungou stray dogs if he hadn't been in a lab. Not as in a "oh he deserved it" but as in "he had such big character development" Chuuya isn't just some red headed hot guy he's a guy with SUCH big character development that's hardly spoken about.

"Growing up" but realizing how much Dazai truely cares for Chuuya even if they are just seen as toxic or "lovers" He never blew up Chuuya motorcycle but his care he was aware how much that bike meant to chuuya. Same goes with Chuuya. He trusts Dazai with his life. "You used corruption believing I would save you, how beautiful."

So if you asked me on a deeper lvl on how much I cared for soukoku and they are the only ones meant for one another, I'd tell you that they truely are beautiful, not in a physical appearance type of way. But in a way of their dynamic together, cause no matter WHAT they went through, they whole heartedly trusted one another. Never did they not and never will they not.

"You're such a slow learner, and you could never follow directions, and then there's that useless ability of yours." Dazai said that to Akutagawa cause he knew hed get a reaction from him. He knew his words would get under Akutagawa's skin, piss him off. Dazai says thoughs things out of the sheer pleasure of the reaction.

Everybody passes over Dazai and what he's done to people cause he's attractive. And yet he has a deeper meaning to himself as well. He uses himself and his body to get what he wants. Wanted his phone back in the hospital, used his body. He knows he can get what he wants if he uses himself like a lockpick to a master lock.

To truely understand Akutagawa is insane as well. He's such a more complex character then just "emo!!!!" He's mentally damaged, physically damaged. He seeks the praise of Dazai cause that's what he was "raised" to do, get good enough for Dazai. Do EVERYTHING to please Dazai nd yet in the end he never even got a simple "good job' until later.

I truely love how asagiri captures the emotions through BSD no matter how emotional or cringe or anything else. He captures true, rare emotion amazingly and nobody can tell me otherwise.

Again, this is a HOT TAKE don't put me on blast :3 One, I'm not hating on anyone that uses Belladonna but I myself wouldn't use it, even in fem!readers sorry if that disappoints. It just feels like I'm specifying a name for 'reader' though it's a nickname. So, I won't be posting any fem!reader with belladonna unless specified if that.

If in any way my opinion triggers you, you can gladly scroll or even block me I won't be phased. I see Dazai as more of a "baby" or "babe" nick name caller. I'm not even totally sure where "belladonna" came from? Some people say it was from Dazai calling the waitress belladonna but I'm not sure.

To the topic of the waitress AND the nurse. I'm sorry but if you've ever said "I wish I was the nurse" you're weird. Saying you wish you were someone cause the character you like had to do things with said person is actually gross!! It's not cute.
