Sorry for the slight lack in activity. Just wanted t say that I'm working on writing a number of headcanons and notes for Elise's blog related mostly to magic stuff but not only, so there might be some content there in a while. =)

How do you feel about alchemy being so often used, but rarely given a lot of attention in magical studies, like in Skyrim with barely anyone bothering to teach it at the College of Winterhold?
"Mngh." A long, ever-suffering sigh is given as Dust lays her head on the tabletop, in folded arms. "Don't remind me. I wholly encourage the teaching of basic alchemical principles to everyone, regardless of profession, of course - everyone should know how to grind up a simple herb to help fever, or to chew mint to freshen breath. But that's all so many care about, too, particularly in a time of war. Soldiers don't care about advancement these days - all energy an alchemist has must go towards endless healing potions, churned out like meat pies." She makes a face of revulsion. "I look forward to a happy end to this war, so we can focus on truly exploring the alchemical realm once more."
How do you feel about alchemy?
"The way most lovers do about their passionately adored better halves, of course." A soft chuckle. "Oh, she's a fickle mistress, temperamental, even volatile. I've been burned, poisoned, smoked and choked, pricked and cut by everything from thorns to bear claws in her name, but I'd sooner cut off my left leg than leave her. Even the times I grow bored with one creation, I usually find another, and the few times I feel driven away, I've always returned." Her smile sharpens, laughter rueful. "Now that is true love."
☻ (For Elise Brelle maybe? They haven't met, so just appearance is fine.)
“I saw them once, I think. Short hair, blonde? They seem remarkably…focused. I suppose I am too when I’m in the library. I’m curious as to what they’re working on, and if we would have something worth discussing in terms of magic. Their eyes are a pretty color too.” The Khajiit cracked open another book, placing his fingers just under the first line.
“I’m sure any discussion with them would be more enlightening than most I’ve had since coming to Skyrim.” he muttered, trailing off as he started to read.
♔ (Being greedy because the last one was PERFECT)
♔ A Hairstyle
"Hmn..." Dust circles Elise once more, tapping her lip in thought. "Such a fair, pretty colour. I think - there is a Nordic style, where some of the hair is pulled back in a braid down the back of the head and neck, and the rest is left loose. I think that would suit you beautifully, dear - show off your neck, allow some earrings on display."
❀ (the College robes only go so far)
❀ A Fashion Style
"Blue!" Dust clasps her hands together, circling around her. "A beautiful, deep dark blue, and with those luscious hips we must have it be form-fitting above, with draping for the skirt. Gods, you would look positively beautiful! Not that you aren't lovely already, but good clothing can only improve things." A wink. "Can I get your measurements?"
♦
"Potential. She has potential. Oh, I couldn't teach her a damned thing - the realms of archeology, of exploring the energies of Mundus are not my field. But a ripe young mind, eager to learn and with the intelligence to grasp concepts beyond the rudimentary, practical fireball and potion?
...I think I hear Astarill mentally salivating."
SO
Still did not get to properly write that headcanon on tea. Why, do you ask? Of course you would ask that, why wouldn't you?
That would be because I've been working on THIS.
(No not the picture, I wish I was that good but this is the work of THIS TALENTED FUCKER )
Meet Elise Brelle, young Breton mage fascinated by alternative means to use Magicka, back from the dead a trip away from the College to find old works from a deceased mage.
You'll find a lot of magical theories, headcanons and nerdtalk on that blog. Kinda did it to indulge my love for coming up with theories about magic, in-game or not.
Elise is a pretty sympathetic character, open to a lot of interactions of all kind. Due to how I picture her, now, that also includes possibly dark themes. We all know the research of knowledge can be more dangerous than returning a book past it's due date, when you're a mage.
Feel free to come to me with plot ideas, casual interactions, or just to read stuff about magicka. I only hope it will be as entertaining and interesting to you as it is for me to write those goddamn notes. =)
