@elisefailin THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU’RE A LIFE SAVER
@sapphicmilady aaaaaaaawwww thanks, I can feel myself like depression spiraling and I’m like THIS IS WHY U WENT TO THERAPY U WALNUT SO U COULD FUNCTION DURING THESE DOWNSWINGS so u kno. Hopefully I’ll keep it up lol
@sublimesublemon I mean fair enough, but it’s like really funny to me that fandom is like “oh he loves her as a little sister” and it’s like guys……he kisses her at least once, shoves his hand down her pants which she seemed p fine with, and then goes to her room once to take her up on an offer to fuck her (which he only doesn’t do bc she’s fucking D'argo and he knows that would upset D'argo). Like I’m not saying there isn’t a familial type bond between the crew but uh……they definitely don’t see each other completely in a platonic light lol
You posted a Stranger Things gifset with a lot of flashing lights in it. That can be dangerous for people, like me, with photosensitive epilepsy. Please use tags like 'flashing gif' or 'photosensitive warning' on posts like that so me and my friends can stay safe! Thanks!
Least Fav Female: eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh not applicable, they're all wonderful
Least Fav Male: the magus bleh he's a dick
Why I joined the fandom: i actually found the fandom once i came on tumblr and since i had read all the books, i thought i would add my mediocre skills to the small fandom so we'd have more to cry about since we haven't had a new book in years lol
bornofstorms replied to your post:Ok quick question. How do you imagine psy cardinal eyes? Do you see them as being entirely black, or just the iris/pupil part? I love these books but this is the only thing I don't quite have down in my mental pictures of the characters.
oooh, I had interpreted it as the whole eye being black with the night sky like white areas.
Ooooh, actually I like that way of looking at it. I had just never imagined it that way before.

EEE PSY/CHANGLING. Nalini Singh has said she leaves it up to the reader’s preference, but for her, it’s the full eye. tinyurl.com/nga4c7z (Reminds me too much of SPN’s demons, tho, so I like the iris/pupil option, too.)
Yeah, I think that's why I had imagined it more like regular eyes? But it does make sense that it would be something more like this since the Laurens talk about it being impossible for them to hide if they're out in public.
ALSO I DID NOT KNOW YOU ARE A PSY CHANGELING PERSON. ARE YOU CAUGHT UP ON THE WHOLE SERIES (OR AT LEAST THROUGH HEART OF OBSIDIAN). DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THE ARROW AU?

I've always thought just the iris and pupil. I think they're mostly like regular eyes, except for the irises. That's how I've always pictured it at least :)
Adam went from a possessive and obnoxious but relatively harmless dude to a controlling and domineering asshole and the fact that he is a white man being controlling as fuck over an indigenous woman is 1000000000% more disturbing and the whole thing is just so upsetting bc I know she can write possessive and obnoxious without being abusive a la Charles but it’s like she just stopped trying with Adam and it’s gross af.

MY QUESTIONS
1. What are you currently working on (either for school or leisure)?
This very second? I'm writing a paper that is a critical review of using role play as a language-learning pedagogy.
2. Who inspires you (can be either fictional or real)?
My mom inspires me. When she was 38, she was divorced and knew she wanted a baby more than anything in the world, so she took it upon herself to have and raise a kid single. We've always been financially secure and she's always been there for me. Though she doesn't know it, she's the strongest person I know.
3. Pick a character from your current fandom and explain either why you love them or hate them.
Well, my favorite character of anything like ever is River Song, but I do not consider myself part of the DW fandom, because I haven't seen (and refuse to watch) all of the episodes. So, I'll go with Avengers. Loki has spoken to me since Thor. After being in the shadow of his older and stronger brother for his entire life, who so clearly relates to his father more than he, he finds out he's adopted and was adopted for, basically, political reasons. His heartbreak, his attempts to please, and his clear dedication and adoration of Thor, though not always displayed in the... ahem... healthiest of ways, is nothing short of brilliant, and I love him for it. He DOES lack conviction, and it is his weakness, and I understand that feeling.
4. How did you first hear about your favorite celebrity? Why do you like them?
I first saw Robert Downey Jr in Iron Man in 2008. I loved his performance and the movie, but thought nothing more of the attractive lead actor. Then Tropic Thunder came out a few months later, and I knew I had to take note of this man. I'd heard of his drug problems back in the early 2000s, and honestly didn't think he'd stay clean. When my Chaplin obsession began to grow that summer, I discovered the biopic of the man played by RDJ, and THAT is when I saw what an incredible actor he was. I was blown away. RDJ is attractive, there is no denying it, but it's his abilities, far more than his beautiful face, that determines why I like him (Yes, I did just paraphrase Dumbledore).
I've never been one for mythological creatures... but I love Harry Potter, so... wizards?
6. What is your spirit animal?
Seagulls. They rest on the beach all day and eat other people's food and fly.
7. Thoughts on the last movie you watched or book you read?
I'll spare everyone my Avengers feels, and go with the fact that I'm currently reading Catching Fire. I enjoy the Hunger Games series, but I'm not obsessed with it. It's a light, enjoyable, depressing, read.
8. Favorite style of music?
British pop rock. FRANZ FERDINAND. ARCTIC MONKEYS. LAST SHADOW PUPPETS. FRATELLIS. ETC.
9. If you could be anyone else for one day, dead or alive, who would you be and why?
It would be amazing to be one of Chaplin's wives for a day. To be able to talk with the man himself and observe the world around him: the one he successfully parodied to drive out the sadness.
10. What time period appeals to you most?
I've never been one of those who thinks the past is better, but I'd enjoy a visit to the roaring 20s and I am OBSESSED with the Louis XVI, the French Revolution, and the Reign of Terror.
11. You have control of the world for one day. What would you do with it?
Legalize gay marriage; save those suffering from genocide. Would I be able to abolish religion? Doubt it, but I'd do it if I could.
