Friends Theme in Latin
Here's the 'Friends' theme in Latin. Remember to not pronounce the letters in brackets, as these are 'elisions' - a feature of Latin poetry, where if a word ends with a vowel (or 'm') and the next one begins with a vowel, the first vowel doesn't count/is not pronounced. Sic nemo dixit vit(am) infelicem fore, Vacuus, perditus, ver(o) es sin(e) amore, Videris usque (e)sse fessissimus, Fuit felix nec dies, septem, mensis, nec etiam annus, Sed… Te adlevabo, cum pluet nubibus, Te adlevabo, antidea sicut, Te adlevabo, Quod etiam m(e) adlevas… Here's a link to a video clip of the original theme and the lyrics: http://www.lyricsondemand.com/tvthemes/friendslyrics.html
