Elithe Roseflame, a protection warrior, is my favorite OC so far. She’s so cute. Her armor took forever to draw.. but I haven’t figured out what kind of casual clothes she’d be into
(Also posted on my imagine blog: Warcraft-imagines)
Okay, but, like. I’m in love with the idea of Sylvanas being in love. I just could see everyone thinking she is the worst girlfriend ever but she turns out to be the most protective and loving. I can’t stop thinking about it because of the Love is in the Air event.
Also, I never thought about Sylvanas in casual clothes before and now it’s something I need in my life.
Elfebruary Day 3: Cold
Elithe doesn’t like the cold. She practically despises it. She prefers warmth… and so she fights to have it with her two blankets
This just in: Art school is currently kicking my ass and I'm only a 1st year
May post a drawing of Elithe in a Halloween costume, if I ever figure out wtf she'd wear
Kinda tempted to post my OC x Sylvanas one shots and story excerpts here... just bc writing fully fledged fanfiction is hard and I just like these specific ideas
But I also want it to be seen, so idk.
Ashes to Ashes
A/N: I don't usually post stories. But I have been wanting to post this for awhile. Even tho i'm super behind the Burning of Teldrassil and how everyone had their elves reacting to it. So... I hope yall enjoy.
Sylvanas Windrunner x OC
It was almost depressing to cut through the Kaldorei forces, to invade their towns in both Ashenvale and Darkshore. Though, nothing was taken without a fight. When facing a people so finely tuned with nature itself, even the trees fought against the might of the Horde. Malfurion Stormrage made sure of that. They fought bravely with the tree ents, whisps, and barely clothed archers. The Kaldorei used all of their strength, but in the end, the Horde had cut them all down.
Elithe stood triumphant through it all, her armor splattered heavily with dark blood. She had pulled off her shield and thrown it into the sand of Lor'danel while her ax remained embedded in the chest of an elven commander. Staring ahead at the tree, she took deep breaths. Though this was the moment of peace, her heart was still pounding loudly in her ears. Her arms and legs were sore, ready to give out from under her, and she could feel the bruises developing under her plate protection.
Her ears twitched at the muffled sound of a dying voice. A Darnassian sentinel was on the ground with multiple arrows sticking out of her back. She asked Sylvanas why she was going to invade the tree. Elithe turned away, holding no desire to hear the dying words of another, and scanned through the immediate area. Kaldorei corpses lay everywhere, their blood soaking into the sand of their shoreline. Horde soldiers stood at the ready for Sylvanas' command to invade the tree. All of the troops appeared to be exhausted, but ready to go.
"Burn it," She twirled around to see the situation when hearing the sudden command, "Burn it!"
Elithe watched as balls of fire were launched at Teldrassil. The bark and leaves took to the sparks immediately. It didn't take long for the tree to burst into flames. Thousands upon thousands of screams rang clear, even from this distance. In turn, Horde troops cried out in horror. Innocent Kaldorei citizens, defenseless families and thousands of children, were being murdered for no other reason than because they happen to be inside the tree. Even the most hardened warriors had their eyes fill with tears and disbelief.
For a moment, she spared a glance at Sylvanas, who was standing proudly as Teldrassil went down in flames. For that brief second, she felt unclean and shameful. Her skin was crawling at the thought of the people inside the tree. Was this really what their proud and honorable armies have been dragged into? Turning her eyes back to the great flame, she found herself thrown back into the abyss of her own memories.
It was as if she was in Quel'thalas once more as a young Quel'dorei. Her heart clenched at the memory of a crumbling Silvermoon. She had been so weak then, so afraid of dying. Her pain had been so deep that it left wounds in her very soul. Elithe had spent so many sleepless nights while shedding countless tears over a lost home. Even now, she is plagued by nightmares.
  No more.
There was no more time to lay crying over what should have been. It was finally the moment to move on, to use her rage as fuel towards whatever comes next. The thought of sending innocents to their death has always made her stomach tighten into harsh knots, but she realized the decision has already been made. She understood the reasoning, as grim and horrific as it may be, and Sylvanas couldn't be dissuaded. It didn't exactly matter what a lowly warrior believed about the situation.
Meanwhile, Sylvanas Windrunner had turned around, finally noticing how her lover was staring blankly at the tree. Her eyes narrowed as she inspected the sight before her. Elithe, who usually stood with her shoulders slouched, was holding her head high and had her shoulders pushed back. Her fiery hair had been pushed back to expose both of her pale eyes eyes. She seemed to be in another world entirely. Already aggravated by the sudden questioning of her leadership, Sylvanas marched in front of the warrior and took her rosey face in her hand. Elithe remained fixated on the burning tree, the flames illuminating her snowy eyes as they flickered.
Sylvanas tapped her hand against the warrior's cheek and asked, "Do you question my decision, Roseflame?"
"I don't question you," She uttered softly, "but we both know that many will."
The Forsaken queen wrapped her clawed hand around the back of her girlfriend's neck and tangled her fingers into the girl's hair. She placed a chaste kiss on the warrior's head before looking down. The edges of her lips seemed to twitch as if she were fighting back a smile as an almost loving light filled her crimson eyes. Sylvanas could still see the flame still flickering brightly inside the soul of her lover. Although clearly in shock at the change of plans, Elithe's loyalty hasn't wavered.
"Rest easy, fearless warrior," She whispered softly into her ear, "I will need you for the war to come."
Elithe pulled away. They were all going to war yet again. She looked out to the Horde army. There were so many different expressions filling the eyes and faces of her people. Anger, confusion, excitement, grief, and fear. Many stared at her with disgust for being so loving towards an honorless Warchief. It was an entire sea of emotions that Elithe found herself drowning in.Â
Reaching down, Elithe grabbed hold of the grip of her ax and yanked it roughly from the corpse. A stomach-turning crack and squelch sounded from where her blade exited the body, leaving a deep gash in the chest. She ignored the way her stomach knotted and her lungs tightened as she slung the bloody axe over her shoulder.
"War is where I thrive the best."
So, @escalusia was kind enough to do this amazing commission of my blood elf warrior, Elithe.
I must say that I absolutely adore her style and am in love with this version of my cynical baby girl. She doesn't look thin and lithe like most women of her race. She actually looks like the gal you'd see tanking on the battlefield and blacksmithing on the side.
I cannot thank her enough for accepting my commission. I'm beyond happy.
