SUPERGIRL (2025) #7 written by Sophie Campbell art by Sophie Campbell and Tamra Bonvillain
*At some point during their teen years, probably*
Alex: If you get in trouble, I'm gonna be like... a lawyer to you. Ok?
Kara: Okay.
*later*
Eliza: Kara! Sit down on the chair, you're in trouble.
Alex, whispering: Deny everything.
Kara, loudly: That isn't a chair.

Maybe it’s because I had supercorp brainrot before the film came out but I keep thinking about parallels between Rumi and Kara, specifically in regards to the secret part of themselves and how it impacted their relationships with others
They both kept the fact that they weren’t human from their closest friend(s) (Zoey & Mira, Lena) and then when it was revealed by someone else against their will the relationship with said friend broke down. The relationship was later repaired, making them closer than before.
They both formed a bond with someone else who was similarly not human, as they understood what it was like (Jinu, Mon-El)
They both had a parental/familial figure telling them to hide what they were and pretend to be human (Celene, the Danvers)
When your ex's mom really hates his/her new girl...
THIS IS SCREAMING FOR A SUPERCORP FANFIC!
I love all fics that include Lena meeting Eliza no matter where in the timeline this girl is sweating bullets and crying and shaking from her motherly kindness
