The interview of 1D on Ellen where they’re asked if they’ve ever hooked up with a fan and Harry says he has. It’s something I don’t see talked about a lot and I’m just wondering what peoples opinions are on it
Hi anon! I understand that people who just fell into the larry rabbit hole are seeking for these kind of answers, but it’s much easier to understand than that, I’m not going to give you some crazy theory here for you to hang on to. Just think about it.
You see, Harry’s public image as a fuck boy, a womanizer, matches what One Direction sold as a band since day one, the boys next door, every girl could have a chance with them. It has been said - in written interviews - that Harry did date fans before (although when questioned in person he said multiple times he doesn’t remember it, because obviously he never said that). One Direction always targeted their marketing strategies to support that image, and that's undeniable whether you believe larry is real or not because that strategy has been used before with other boybands. What do you wanted him to say? “No, I never dated a fan although I did say that before and that’s entirely what my public image is about”. They lie all the time to cover up their sexuality, or support stunts or even don’t expose their private lives too much. He lied, anon. And when you have your epiphany moment and realize larry is real despite what they may have or may not have implied in an interview six years ago.. it’s going to feel great.
