Now in My Bookbag:The Dollhouse in the Crawlspace, by Ellen Byerrum
This book is well written and has every element needed to create a captivating novel. Amnesia, double identities, secrets, lies, and an evil genius… It is impossible to put this book down. The characters are complex. The story is imaginative and compelling. This would be a 5 star book but for the unresolved ending. I have a deep seated need to know what happens next. 4 1/4 stars

The first one will be what Felicity calls Super Scrumptious Chocolate Frosted Chocolate Butterscotch Chip Brownies. Be warned.
Did You Know
Did you know…The WAMU 88.5 Membership Campaign Volunteer Program has a much coveted Legibility Award that is given to the volunteer with the best handwriting during the stations membership campaigns.
Here's the back story:
As a former property master for various DC area theaters, Jack French once had to create a bust of Charles Dickens for a 1990 mystery drama at the Source Theatre in Washington, DC. The playwright Ellen Byerrum had specified that the bust had to have an opening in the bottom to hide some celluclay, which is a form if papier mache used in professional theatres. When the play run was over, Ellen gave the bust to Jack.
At the time, Jack had been volunteering at WAMU membership campaigns for the last 15 years, usually as a phone room manager. To combat the bugaboo of poor handwriting, he brought in the bust of Dickens, called it the Legibility Award, and used it as a "traveling trophy" each shift hour, moving it to the table of the most legible volunteer. Since no one got to keep the bust, the winner of each hour was presented by Jack a cassette of old time radio shows. All of Jack's volunteering took place during the Big Broadcast.
Various membership campaign volunteer shifts have renamed the bust Bernard Shaw or Dennis Owens, but the original purpose remained the same.
Over the years, Jack has let the award take on a life of its own. The winner of the award now gets to wear a crown for an hour, gets a signed certificate, and a special gift from Jack or from the volunteer services office.
