Agatha Christie’s The Pale Horse Trailer

Based on Agatha Christie’s novel of the same name, Amazon and BBC One’s The Pale Horse follows Mark Easterbrook, a man whose name appears on a list found on a dead woman. His private investigation as to why his name was on that list leads him to The Pale Horse, the home of three women rumored to be witches.

The Pale Horse stars Rufus Sewell as Mark Easterbrook with Kaya Scodelario, Bertie Carvel, Sean Pertwee, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Poppy Gilbert, Madeleine Bowyer, Ellen Robertson, Sarah Woodward, Georgina Campbell, and Claire Skinner. Rita Tushingham, Sheila Atim, and Kathy Kiera Clarke will portray the “witches.” Leonora Lonsdale is directing.

The Pale Horse hits Amazon on March 13, 2020.

Cast of “The Pale Horse” Announced

The Pale Horse, BBC One, Mammoth Screen, and Agatha Christie Limited's 2-part adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel, has announced its cast. Amazon Prime Video is the U.S. co-production partner with Endeavor Content handling international sales.

Per BBC One, “The Pale Horse follows Mark Easterbrook as he tries to uncover the mystery of a list of names found in the shoe of a dead woman. His investigation leads him to the peculiar village of Much Deeping, and The Pale Horse, the home of a trio of rumoured witches. Word has it that the witches can do away with wealthy relatives by means of the dark arts, but as the bodies mount up, Mark is certain there has to be a rational explanation.”

Rufus Sewell stars as Mark Esterbrook with Kaya Scodelario, Bertie Carvel, Sean Pertwee, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Poppy Gilbert, Madeleine Bowyer, Ellen Robertson, Sarah Woodward, Georgina Campbell, and Claire Skinner. Rita Tushingham, Sheila Atim, and Kathy Kiera Clark will portray the witches. Leonora Lonsdale is directing.
