i think ive decided ellery gets to have put on some more weight. a whole year of eating and not missing meals and being generally secure. he gets to.

He's got a fuzzy face and a more animal nose now! he likes scritches there. i think he rubs the soft part of his forehead into people he likes when he's comfortable. Partners especially would be used to the rub of fuzz on their necks (continued under the cut)

ellery can sort of sense nightmares, but mostly only in his beast form. Less so when he’s human, though he does have a better sense for when someone is ill at ease than he used to His hair and fluff turns white in the winter and his usual ginger the rest of the year i think the only thing ellery considers a downside to the way he can transform into a monster is the fact that he can't transform like. mid-chase. It takes a few seconds to change and he's wobbly in the immediate aftermath; anything he's chasing would have time to get away and anything that was chasing him would have him immediately he has many hidey holes around london. Not so much safe houses (he has one or two of those) but literal spaces he can hide in. burrow instinct

he loves to have people chase him, this is known, but he will NOT play chase in the water. all of his favorite people to chase him are. so much better in the water than he is. it’s over too fast

before shaw gets his hands on ellery he's stinky, in an ill-fitting binder, clothes are shit and also way too big, worlds worst haircut, shoes ARE held together by duct tape. but his skateboard is fine.

Since completing BaL he got involved in the Railway but I got stuck and haven't bothered keeping going. One day I'll make him a paramount presence but today is not that day.
