I feel like Dewy would have an existential crisis over trying to figure out the biology and evolutionary nature of a bunch of Hollow Knight and Silksong's bugs because, like, what the fuck is this supposed to be? Satan's hellspawn? 😭

He is a very curious kid. Of course he'd go on a month long tirade to figure out which bug is which and evolution theories and biology look-a-likes. The Gargant Glooms are really interesting to him. He is a nature nerd (like me) so any WEIRD nature facts *I* know... he definitely knows.

Gross things... don't really gross him out. He likes muddy puddles and getting dirty.

They remind me of those frogs that have babies that burst out of their skin. I love how horrified ppl look when I tell them it's a real animal lmao. Also look at how flat these guys are. ("Surinam toad")

AI has run rampant on actual pictures of these guys on google, so don't be fooled! They do not look normal! :D

Roth Mellar is a drow city in my dnd setting, and the only truly permanent settlement of the Brooding Court. This court worships an aspect of Lolth depicted as a giant wasp, and Lolth hasn't smited them about it yet, so yay wasp!

The court's other cities relocate once every century or two, swarming to a new location to drain completely of resources.
