What do you think about Ellevest? I have a 401k and Acorns but now that I'm close to getting my student loans paid I've been thinking about getting more aggressive with preparing to buy a house & eventually retirement. But the thought of investing seriously makes me anxious and the look of most investing platforms makes me want to give up. Is there another platform you'd recommend for someone who doesn't want to monitor their account constantly?
Also, THANK YOU for all that you do. My credit score has increased at least 50 points in the last 2 years I've gotten ahead of schedule on my student loan repayment thanks to your advice.
You're quite welcome my darling snow princess! We're thrilled to hear you're fixing your credit score. You should take full credit--we're just here to cheer you on!
Ellevest is one of the better brokerages. Their fees are a little higher than average, but I know women who swear by their female-focused investing advice. Personally, I use Vanguard for two of my four brokerage account, and Acorns for another. So those are my preferred platforms. But if Ellevest seems right for you, then you could do much worse!
