Patch Up || Jake & Elli

[ ⚔ ] — Jake grumbles under his breath as he drags himself into the Alpha Medical Center yet again, having gotten injured while mining. Or rather, getting foolishly jumped by a monster down in the mines. While Jake had managed to fend it off without too much incident, he certainly hadn’t come out of the scuffle unscathed.
It was honestly a regular occurrence for the half-elf, and the doctors and nurses of the medical facility were well familiar with his frequent brush ins with danger. Hell, at this point the hospital might as well have been his second home.
It doesn’t take long for Jake to encounter the nurse who often treated him, his cold gaze meeting her own.
Before she could ask what happened, he speaks, “Got attacked by a monster in the mines. There’s nothin’ too serious, aside from the cuts and bruises...”
That hurt like hell, thanks. But once he got some proper treatment for them (proper being going to an actual doctor, according to Meg), he could manage. He’d have to deal with the inevitable scolding first, though. Ugh... commencing in 3, 2, 1...
