“Come here and let me fix your hair, Witcher! It’s all tangled and it’s - oh stop growling you great bear - and it’s going to need to be cut off if you don’t let me untangle those twigs and leaves.”

Geralt had bathed the blood of the hunt from his body but his hair was still a disaster, piled atop his head like a godsdamned condor nest. With a few quiet grumbles and pointed threats, the Witcher settled in his meditative kneel between Jaskier’s knees, leaning back slightly so that his shoulders rested against the warm sides of the bard’s strong legs. 

He liked touching like this. Gently. Without expectations.

Just touching. 

Jaskier hummed as he worked the pick through his darling’s long snowy locks, pulling bits of debris out and flicking them off into the forest. 

“What are you humming? Does it have words?”

“Do you want me to sing it?”

“Hmm. Yes. Softly, please, love.”

“Of course.”

“Ten minutes ago I saw you, I looked up when you came through the door

My head started reeling, you gave me the feeling

The room had no ceiling or floor.

Geralt’s posture relaxed until he was rumbling softly beneath the bard’s tender ministrations. He’d never admit to purring but Jaskier knew the truth and that was all that mattered. The bard braided his Witcher’s clean, soft hair into a manageable style and pressed a kiss to the side of his neck. 

“I may never come down to earth again.”

ellie!! my love!! hello!! okay so i’m not gonna go into full details, but italian boy and i met online like a couple of weeks ago (three, i think) and we actually connected bcs of our mutual love for game of thrones and he told me how he read all the books and i told him how i just recently bought all the books and i’m planning to read them as well! i told him that he looks like one of the characters and he said he gets that a lot and wanted to show me a picture and that’s how i basically got his number lmao and he gave it away so quickly and it was so cute. i knew that i genuinely wanted to continue talking to him bcs i loved learning that we had so many similarities and common interests (like even the type of area that we live in) and, yeah, we haven’t been able to stop talking ever since. as for my top five romantic songs, i’d say it’s chivalry is dead (trevor wesley), work song (hozier), kiss the boy (keiynan lonsdale), i like you so much you’ll know it (ysabella cuevas), and make you mine (public)!! thank you for sending in these questions ellie; you’re amazing! ✨🤍

Daylight Game Night: Lover Release!

Our first game night went so well so we will be hosting our 2nd Daylight Game Night in celebration for the release of Lover! It will be a brand new (different from the first one) trivia game on myquiz.org which can be just played on google/safari!
