"are ya mad at me?" goku's whisper is notoriously awful, though perhaps it's your sleepy fog that makes it seem that much louder than normal.
"... no?" you sniffle a bit, turning on your other side to face goku. "why...?"
"oh... 'cause you went to bed early an'..." goku rubs the back of his neck with a red tinge dusting his cheeks, his lips twisted in a soft pout. "you're cuddling the pillow an' not me."
"oh, honey..." you immediately initiate cuddle position, nuzzling against goku's broad chest as his arms lock you in. "no, 'm not mad. jus' got sleepy."
"mmkay." satisfied, your lover tugs the blanket over the both of you, his eyes peeking out above the top of your head to levy a soft glare at your pillow before settling in for bed, this time with his much-needed cuddles.
