It's dusk, the sun almost entirely set and a few dotted stars reflect on the surface of the water. It's quiet other than the waves lapping at the shore and the occasional squawk of a seagull.
Maybe he has your pinkies linked together and your head is on his shoulder, the two of you just distressing from the day. It's relaxing, his presence is a constant in your life, a guiding light as it were.
He turns to look at you and you look at him; neither knows who moved first but you're sharing a chaste kiss. No words were needed, but by the gleam in Elliott's eyes you knew exactly what he was thinking: this moment was simply far too sweet for him not to write in a book.
Except you don't know that this moment won't go into any simple book, it'll go into the book he has written about you and all the moments you've spent with him.
