First fight and first time - A Matchmackers Story

“And cut” Jensen, the director of this episode, yells, making Stella, the new guest star take a couple of steps back away from Alex. “Everyone take 15, some of us need a break” He mutters the last part as he gives me side eye.
I roll my eyes, walking back to the lunch table. I can feel Jensen following me, his eyes burning in the back of my neck. “Y/N”
“What?” I bite the inside of my cheek, trying to calm myself down.
“You know she's just acting, right?” He raises his eyebrow as I lean in for a mini sandwich.
“I don’t mind the scenes, Jay” I huff, remembering the incident from last night. “I get that they're gonna have to kiss several times”
“Then why do you look like you're about to murder her?”
“Because last night, around 11 pm, I went over Alex’s trailer and she was in his bed. Alex was a couple of feet away so I know nothing was happening. He said they were running lines but still” I swallow down, turning around to face him. “I'm not exactly comfortable with the whole situation”
“Have you talked to Alex about it?” He asks me, already knowing the answer.
“I wasn’t exactly in a mood to talk after that little scene I saw so I walked out and I’ve been avoiding him” I confess. I know I’m not being exactly mature about it, but I feel like throwing up when I remember her on the side of the bed I usually sleep in.
“I get that you feel bad but take it from someone who’s been in the show business for so long, misunderstandings like this are gonna happen often and if you really want this to work, you have to talk it through” He wraps his arms around my shoulders, planting a kiss on my hair. “I’m sure Alex will explain himself and it’s gonna be fine”
I’m interrupted by a loud laugh erupting through the set as Alex tilts his head back. It seems Stella must have said something funny because she has her hand over his arm, a big smile on her face. My insides tighten as I watch them, a sudden urge to cry taking over me.
“Why don’t you go and rest?” Jensen looks down at me, a sympathetic look in his eyes. “We can shoot your scenes tomorrow, you don’t have to do this right now”
“Thanks” It’s all I manage to speak as I tear my eyes away from Alex, a stinging pain in my heart.
“Go, sweetheart” Jensen gives me a last wink before I walk out of the set, ready to start crying any minute now.
When Y/N is no longer near, I close my fists, anger taking over me as I walk towards Alex. “Calvert”
He immediately snaps his eyes to me as Stella’s hand falls from his arm. “Yes?”
“Come here” I motion to him as I walk towards an empty room of the set. He follows behind, looking around the room before setting his eyes on me. Before I can stop myself, my arm swings hard against his face. “And don’t you dare return it because you deserved it”
“Dude, what the hell?” Alex whines as he brings his hand up to his lip.
“No, what the hell to you?” I shake my head. “Y/N is crying her eyes out right now over you in her trailer while you laugh with Stella”
“What?” He frowns, looking back at the other room to look for Y/N. “Why?”
“Why? Are you seriously asking that?” I huff, trying not to punch him again. “Yesterday she finds Stella all over your bed and now you two look like lovers, laughing over God knows what”
“It’s not what it looks like, Jensen” Alex breaths hard. “Stella is just a friend, that's it”
“I don’t think Stella nor Y/N seem to think that” I look back at the fake door as Jared and Misha walk in, a concerned look on their eyes.
“What’s going on?” Jared asks, looking at Alex’s bleeding lip.
“Nothing” Alex shakes his head, looking back at me. “I had it coming”
“You need to fix this, right now” I look at him harshly. “You might be our friend but Y/N is like a daughter to me and I will not hesitate to defend her”
“I know” Alex nods. “Can we finish my lines later? I need to go to her”
“Yes,” I feel more at ease now, knowing Alex at least cares. “Don’t screw this up”
“It killed me to see him like that” I bring my hands up to dry the tears that are forming in my eyes. “Giving her the smile that he usually saves for me”
“Oh, baby” Gen gives me sad smile through my phone. “I wish I was there with you to help you out”
“Don’t worry, I’m taking care of her for the three of us” Dee wraps her arms around me as I lean into her, my tears wetting her hoodie. “And I will punch Alex for the three of us”
“Please do” Vicky speaks from Dee’s phone. Yeah, we are that extra. “God, why are men so fucking blind sometimes?”
“She's just so fucking pretty” I groan, hiding my face in my hands.
“No, don’t do that, Y/N” Gen scolds me, her mom face appearing suddenly. “Don’t start comparing, don’t let Alex’s stupidity make you question yourself”
Dee gets interrupted by the soft knock on my door and we all know who it is. I look back at the girls and the just nod, giving some reassurance. “Come in”
It only takes a couple of seconds before Alex appears a the door. I notice his bleeding lip but I stop myself from getting up to check on him. When he notices my red eyes and the killer look Danneel is sending him, his face falls, a sudden pain taking over his face. “Can we talk?”
Dee looks back at me, raising an eyebrow to ask me if I’m okay with that. I nod so I turn to the phones to say goodbye to the girls. They give me a couple of ‘i love you’ before hanging up. Dee stands up to leave my trailer, not before giving Alex one last angry glance.
Alex closes the door behind him, leaving only the two of us and silence in my trailer. I look up at his face and I see the tears forming in his eyes and that’s when I feel my insides snapping. I start sobbing into my hands, every cry harder than the last one. I can hear him moving around until he is kneeling in front of me, wrapping his arms around my legs to place his head over my lap.
“Please, don’t cry” His words are muffled against my sweatpants, his warm tears falling over my clothed thighs.
“Don’t tell me what to do when you had your chance to explain yourself today and you decided to give her your attention instead” I feel the anger boiling inside me, the words harder now. “Who in their right mind does that, Alex?”
“I’m sorry” He brings his head up to look for my eyes. “But she's just a coworker, a friend”
“I was just that to you too before” I try to push him away from me but he doesn’t let me, holding my legs tighter. “And of course, she's gorgeous and funny and you're playing lovers, what I’m a supposed to think when I show up to your trailer and she is in my spot, looking like a fucking angel over your bed?”
“No no no” Alex sits up, bringing his hands to grab my face. “Don’t you dare say that. I love you, Y/N. More than you can even possibly imagine and that’s never gonna change. Every time I picture my future, you’re the one I always imagine next to me. You are the first thing that shows up in my head when I wake up and you are the last thing on my mind when I go to bed. Hell, you even take over my dreams. You are my undoing, baby girl, and I would rather die a thousand times than dare to live a life without you. I need you to understand that, I need you to remember that always”
He stops me as I’m about to speak, giving me a hard kiss before reaching for my hand to place it over his heart. “Feel that? How my heart is beating like crazy? That’s me being afraid of losing you, of losing the most important person in my life. I love you so much and I cannot imagine my life without you, I wouldn’t be able to handle it”
“Alex” I sob, wrapping my arms around his neck. “Please don’t ever leave me. I don’t think I would be able to handle it. The thought of you loving someone else, of looking at someone else the way you look at me, it’s haunting. Please just love me”
“I don’t think I can ever stop, my Y/N” Alex grabs my face again to connect our lips one more time. His lips search for mine in desperation, his hand moving to my hair as mine pull him closer to me. My kisses become desperate until they trail down his neck as my hands ventures down to his shirt, undoing the first few buttons over his chest. “Babe?”
“Shh,” I stop him as my fingers undo the buttons until I have his shirt completely opened for me. “Love me”
“Ar-Are you sure about this?” He stops my hands, looking for my eyes. “You don’t have to prove anything to me, Y/N”
“I know” I push the shirt off his shoulder, making it fall to the floor of my trailer. I place my hand over his abs, feeling every line under my fingertips. “I’m ready”
“I love you” He connects our lips once again before picking me up from my couch. “I love you so much it hurts me”
He walks into my room with me in his arms, his hands under my bottom. Placing me carefully over the bed, he leans back to undo his pants. He watches me with fire in his eyes as the black jeans fall to the floor, leaving him only in his dark underwear.
“I think I’m a little bit in disadvantage here” He leans back in just as my eyes scan him completely. “Here, I’ll make things even”
I sit up so that he can remove my hoodie over my head, revealing my plain beige bra. “Sorry, I wasn’t really thinking we are gonna end up like this” I turn a whole new shade of red as his eyes travel down to my chest.
“It’s more than perfect” He murmurs before leaning down to place a kiss over both of my breasts. He trails his hands down to my sweatpants, removing them with a swift movement. “That’s better”
He kisses the side of my hip before moving up to meet my face again. “You can tell me if you don’t feel comfortable or if you want me to stop” He reassures me so I kiss him once again to give him the motivation to keep going.
He brings one hand up to my back to unhook my bra, making it loose around my chest. With a heavy breath, he pulls it away from me, showing myself in a way that Alex has never seen me before. He takes his warm tongue over the newly revealed skin. His lips are soft but hungry against my skin, sending my mind into a spiral.
He keeps his mouth over me as his hands take the sides of my panties, pushing them down my legs but I’m too caught up in the emotions he is making me feel to realize it until his hand touches me in the part that has been craving him for so long. A soft moan escapes my lips, almost like a purr as Alex adventures in me.
“Is this okay?” He asks me, moving his lips up my neck, his hot breath only making it harder for me to focus.
“Mhm” It’s all that I manage to say as he keeps me under his spell, my eyes closing with the overwhelming emotions. “I love you”
“I love you, too” He kisses me behind my ear before pulling his hands away from me. Before I can protest, his hands find mine at my sides and that’s when I notice he is now completely naked.
“Oh wow” I look down, swallowing hard before moving my eyes back to his face.
“Oh fuck” He groans, placing his head over my chest. “We don’t have protection”
“I-I, mmm” I blush hard as Alex looks back at me. “I’ve been thinking about this for a while so I started the pill and... there are some condoms on the nightstand”
“Oh my god” Alex muffles a moan before reaching for the bedside table. His hand roams around for a couple of seconds before appearing with a silver packet in between his fingers. “Tell me if you need me to slow down or even if you no longer want to”
“Okay” I smile at him, my heart fluttering at how careful he is being. “I trust you”
He places a quick kiss on my lips as he uses his free hand that is not supporting his weight to place the rubber over himself. He takes a deep breath, looking into me before sinking in.
I feel a sudden pain take over me as Alex kisses the tears away from my eyes, whispering soft words to me. I take a couple of breaths, steadying myself under Alex. “Are you okay?” He asks me, not liking the painful look on my face.
“Just give me a couple of seconds” I try to speak, my legs shaking under me. He keeps kissing my face, trying to make it easier for me. “It’s getting better, you can move now”
“Are you sure?” He asks me, kissing my collarbone so I just nod, placing my hand over his hips to encourage him. “Okay”
He starts moving, swaying us into a rhythm that makes my head fall back. I move my hands to his back, tracing every line his muscles mark as he moves over me. Our lips meet once again, falling into a rhythm that matches the ones of our hips as we move as one.
“God” Alex moans against my lips, one of his hand bringing my leg around his hips. “I love you so much”
“I love you” My voice comes out hoarse like I’ve never heard it before. “Oh Alex”
We keep going, each touch, each kiss heavier than before, sending my mind into agony, a good agony, the one that has my eyes turning and my breath caught in my throat. “Alex” I whine, feeling something reaching me, not sure of how to get it.
“Y/N” Alex moans hard against me which sends me off the edge, sudden electricity running through my body as his name falls of my mouth. “Oh God”
Alex’s moves become more sloppy as he groans against me before falling softly over me. “I- wow”
“Was that good?” I blush as he rolls us over so I rest over his chest. “I felt like I didn’t do anything”
“I’ve been dreaming about this moment for so long” He pushes a hair strand behind my ear. “And I can promise you that my dreams don’t give justice to how amazing this was”
“I’m sorry” I hide my face in his neck, kissing the skin under my lips. “I shouldn’t have doubted you”
“No, this is my fault. You had every right to get angry, I wasn’t fair to you” He shakes his head, grabbing my hand to bring it up to his lips. “I’m the one who should be apologizing. I love you so much and I should have explained everything to you at the moment. Stella showed up to run lines and I should have noticed she was being more than friendly and I should have stopped her. And today I should have looked for you to fix things”
“I don’t want you to feel like you have to do things because of fear of my reaction” I trace the side of his face with my finger. “I love you too”
“You are the most beautiful, smartest, funniest person I’ve ever met and I’m so lucky to get to hold you like this every day, to kiss you the way I get to” He places me on my back, kissing me before pulling away. “I know we’ve only been together for a while but... I love you more than I ever thought I would ever love someone”
“I feel the exact same way about you, Alex” I smile to him, earning one just as big from him. “You are it for me”
“Oh, fuck it, I’m doing it” He speaks more to himself so I frown as he stands up and walks over to the side of the closet that I have for him. He looks for something while I stare openly at his butt, not caring if I get caught.
He reaches for a pair of new underwear so I can no longer admire his derrière, before turning around. He walks back to the bed, sitting next to me. I feel a little self-conscious so I reach for one of Alex’s hoodies that is thrown over the bedside table.
“Babe” He calls my attention at that’s when I notice what he is holding between his hands. “I know we haven’t been together even for a year and some people might think I’m crazy but if there’s something I’m sure is that I want to spend every second of my life with you, loving you, making you feel like the most loved and most beautiful woman in the world”
“Alex” I feel like the earth is shaking under me, my hands shaking as I try to wipe the tears from my eyes.
“I completely understand if you feel like this is too sudden if you feel like you need some time to think about it” He opens the tiny box between his hand. “I bought this after the Whitecaps game, I’ve been holding myself back because I know it’s too soon but I don’t think I can wait anymore”
He takes the diamond ring out of the box before reaching for my left hand. “Y/N Y/L/N, will you marry me?”
By now the tears are running down my face like crazy, to the point where I can't see Alex clearly. “Yes, yes, yes”
I know people are gonna judge us, I know I said at the beginning I wanted to wait, that we were too young. But now, with Alex right here, I realize that there isn’t something I want more than this. Alex slides the ring onto my finger before pulling me hard against his chest, his tears mixing with mine as we kiss to seal this promise.
“I wish Gen and Vick were here” I mumble into Alex’s shoulder as we walk hand in hand into the set the next morning, a big smile visible on our faces.
“We can call them after to let them know” Alex kisses the side of my head as we step into the main room where everyone is fixing things for the new scene we have to film.
Jensen immediately sees us, straightening up from his chair that is next to Dee’s. I make sure to keep my hand hidden to not spoil anything. “Guys, can I get your attention please?”
Everyone immediately stops what they are doing, some moving closer to us, even Stella who is staring at Alex’s arm around me. “We have a bit of an announcement to make”
Everyone stares at us expectantly until I pull my hand from the back pocket of my jeans, bringing it up for everyone to see the flashing diamond. “We're having another supernatural wedding”
The sudden wave of claps and gasps erupt around the room as Alex kisses me to hide the grin from his face. The crew congratulates us before walking away to leave room for the closest friends.
“Dude, when I told you to fix things I never thought you were gonna fucking propose” Jensen grins as he hugs Alex. “You really set the bar high there for the next fights”
“Thanks, Jay” Alex pats his back. “I needed that wake-up call”
“I’m gonna cry” Danneel fans her face as she walks to me. “Alex, I’m not gonna lie, I was ready to murder you and Gen and Vick were thinking of the way to cover it up”
“You would have had the right to” He laughs before looking at me. “I was stupid there for a second”
“No, but for real, I’m happy for you” Dee hugs both of us before giving space for Jay to hug me too.
“Calvert, you threw it out of the park” Jared grins as he hugs Alex now. “Congrats” He smiles at me before placing a kiss over my head. “You deserve it”
“Thanks” I giggle before turning to Misha. “Do we get your blessing?”
“You should have asked for it before you got engaged but yes, I’m so happy for you” He kisses my head to before patting Alex’s shoulder. “Alex, you might be my son but you are definitely marrying up, she is way out of your league”
“Trust me, I know” Alex wraps his arms around my waist, kissing my temple.
“I’m gonna call Gen, Jay give me your phone to call Vick” She takes Jensen’s phone before he can even answer and walks away.
“Hey” A quiet voice calls our attention so we turn our head to find Stella a couple of feet away from us. “Congrats”
“Thank you” We both nod, Alex’s grip tightening around me.
“Y/N, can we talk?” She asks me so I nod, following her so that we are away from the boys. “I wanted to apologize, my actions were completely out of line and I should’ve been more respectful. I completely understand if you hate me”
“I don’t hate you” I shake my head. “It was Alex’s job to be respectful to me because he's the one who is in a relationship. Even though I wasn’t the biggest fan of your actions, I don’t hate you”
“Thank you” I see her shoulders fall like they were holding something heavy. “And I meant it, congratulations”
“Thanks” I give her a soft smile as Dee calls me to go over. “I gotta go, but just to be clear, we are okay”
She nods, smiling before walking over to her chair. I join the group, Alex raising an eyebrow to make sure everything is fine and smiles when I nod at him.
“Y/N” Dee calls me. “Come and talk to the girls” She holds the phones in front of me when Vick and Gen look at me, I bring my hand up. The loud screams make me giggle as the boys all share a look.
“I’m gonna cry” Gen sobs. “I’m so happy for you”
“Me too” Vicky sniffs. “And here I was ready to buy a remote territory so that we could bury Alex there”
I laugh hard at her words as Alex blinks, not entirely surprised by V.
“Do you know what that means?” I beam at them. “You are now wedding planners”
IT’S BACK! I know you might be thinking hey why are they getting married so soon. I wamted to write the first time but I also wanted to take this as an oportunity to introduce *drum rolls* MATCHMAKERS PART 2! It’s gonna have a new name and if you read the last line... yes! It’s “Wedding Planners” I’m so excited! However, I will not be starting it until I’m done with You and I which has about 2-3 more chapters. Hope you are as excited as I am❤️
