Let me know if you like the program!
Heya! It was your reblog that reminded me I had not been using it faithfully.
As of now, there's just 2 docs as I am not fully committed to transferring all of them quite yet. The program is taking some time to get used to. It's as if Word and Google docs had a baby and the result is @ellipsus-writes (I mean that as a compliment).
I have been using Word since I was a teen, and google docs for about ten years. In the last year I took almost all of my works off Google and was strictly Word as it was too much to keep updating everything.
My hope is one of my mutuals will try this too. I want to see how the sharing part works out such as for a beta.
Overall, I like it. I'm not in love with it yet, but it is doing what I need it to do. One thing I do not like is how I have to search for my word count. On Word, it's there at the bottom of the screen for me to check. And when I highlight, I cannot see how much that is compared to my overall word count. While it's not a huge thing, it's something I like to keep track of as I go along with the WIP.
Also if Ellipsus could add 'highlighting' or adding multi color fonts that would be awesome. After @mega-aulover introduced me to the method of using a color per day to differentiate which day I've written, it's been a life changer. All of this is still available on Word.
Since we're still in the beta phase, these are not big deals, but it would be awesome if these options were made available to users.
(If these are options and I'm just too blind to see where they are/navigate the program, sorry. I'm not tech savvy.)
Definitely recommend giving it a try and as always, thanks for the ask <3
