So I’m not the birthday….

For context, I scheduled my hair and lash appointments for my upcoming birthday. I get my hair done by my friend… it was a favor SHE proposed because I helped her with something just out of kindness. (Normally I pay her to do my hair but she offered this service for free)

I said thank you for the offer, I appreciate it.

The day comes, she’s unprepared.. mind you she’s the stylist.. Mind you she knows my birthday coming.

I think the overarching theme’s of the Spider-verse movies is about fighting against corrupt systems and ideologies. Add a dash of stopping people with a lot of money from poisoning our communities. Spider-Man isn’t a monolith and has never been treated as such so why should Miles feel undeserving? Miles just wants to protect his community against this corrupt system just like everyone else. All while trying to be a teenager.

Also the whole Miles being ‘the original anomaly’ just reeks of bitterness and projection because Miguel deeply resents his own fate.

I never liked Josh. He’s been a sore loser from the beginning and although he’s an aggressive player, he’s also a sore winner too which leaves a bitter taste in everyone’s mouth everytime. It’s embarrassing to watch him take EVERYTHING serious and personal. He’s like the ultimate gym rat personality and idk how Andrea can stand his ego.

He clearly lacks good communication skills because all his so called allies have complained about the same thing, his lack of transparency which he swears down he is. And he gets so angry because he feels so entitled to everyone’s loyalty that he has yet to prove he deserves.

He only really sees Andrea as a trophy and his personal beefs clearly mean more to him than winning the game or building a genuine connection with Andrea.

Also from the beginning he’s exhibited micro, aggressive behavior towards the black male players and that is not lost on me white boy TUH. just envy written all over this Virgo

I never liked how back when atsv was poppin last summer all the edits and group art pieces would come out and they’d exclude Margo completely. It was hard for me to bigup the cool content because the blatant exclusion of the only young black female Spider-Man was annoying to me. (I haven’t even gotten started on ms.jess drew!)

The fandom swore the part she played in the movie was sooo insignificant. They hated the idea of her being a potential love interest, made it clear they didn’t care for her 2 sec inclusion(issue on the producer side because she deserved more screen time periodt.), tried to invalidate her Spider-Man identity because her concept is cool and different and not the traditional ‘bit by a spider’. 🙄😒
