El Día Mundial contra el Cáncer se celebra cada año el 4 de febrero. El objetivo es fomentar la prevención y sensibilización para disminuir las muertes prevenibles y incentivar la toma de medidas. Bajo el lema «Yo soy y Voy a», la comunidad global conmemora este 4 de febrero el Día Mundial contra el Cáncer.

El objetivo de esta jornada es reducir el número de muertes evitables cada año a través de la concienciación sobre el cáncer en la población general, y presionando a los gobiernos para que emprendan más medidas contra esta enfermedad.

Hoy también se celebra, el Día Internacional de la Fraternidad Humana. Son la tolerancia, la tradición pluralista, el respeto mutuo y la diversidad de religiones y creencias las que promueven la fraternidad humana.

Cc @elly.mayday Today I managed to walk two laps around the ward, one day post op. It’s so important to get moving as soon as you feel able. I didn’t get a good sleep last night, probably just from all the drugs in my system. I’m feeling okay at the moment but still have some ways to go. I can tell you they were able to find the blockage and reroute/ reattach my bowel. Hopefully allowing me to eat and my system to work in the coming days! 🙌🏻 Hallelujah. I’ll dive into more detail when I’m ready to so please don’t ask 😘 just happy to have this part done with. To date I’ve had almost 30 hrs of operations. Crazy to think about what your body can handle.
