Meet former Editor in Chief of the NickiiJeanMagazine. After three years of working and building this amazing publication she has decided to lay her first project to rest for a season or two, to focus on live, quick, and raw content. She has recently relocated to Doha, Qatar to pursue her career as a global influencer and advocate for healthy living. She believes blogging is a very fast way of communicating and she will be taking that leap of faith while trying something new. The goal of this blog is to uplift, motivate, and enhance all woman a part of the TEAL SOCIETY! The Teal Society is a community of woman who have been affected by gynecological cancers such as Ovarian, Cervical, Vaginal and Vulgar cancers. We are simply here to take this journey together. “I am not this hair” is what I wrote. Behind my forced smile I felt completely terrified and unsure of my future. . This video from early 2017, is just a few weeks after I had major surgery to remove a tumor, a port-a-cath surgically implanted and started harsh chemotherapy. My hair was literally falling off my scalp and it had to go. . Am I going to die? How much longer will I live? Will I be able to muster the necessary courage and bravery to fight? . Since this day, I continue to face uncertainty and mortality head on. Been there done that...I’ve completed every type of cancer treatment and scans imaginable (except bone marrow transplant). . Today, I am extremely grateful to be alive with or without hair. What I have learned is: SUPPORT is everything!! We all need cheerleaders 📣 when times are tough but especially when you’re fighting for your life. . Today marks ☝🏼year anniversary of @tammystotesofhope deliveries to 2️⃣ different cancer hospitals. 🎉 . Thank you 👏🏼to everyone involved assisting my dream of providing ✨enCOURAGment✨ to cancer patients a reality through your donations, time and colabriating with artisans, friends and family. . Horizons Student Enrichment program asked to interview me as an alumni and former teacher. I struggled to decide whether to wear a wig (to look like “myself”) or to wear the head wrap to embrace where I am now. I decided ... they are BOTH me. Bald or 24” of curly hair. 💙 I often assume everyone is staring at my bald head, scars, or lack of eyebrows. 😞 But the people who love me always remind me that THEY STILL SEE ME. ♥️ Unconditional love is simply amazing. It was an honor to share my passion for advocating for children and now for Ovarian Cancer. 🦋 God can change your purpose ... even if you THOUGHT you had it figured out. [🙏🏻] . . Les résultats de scan sont tombés... Fin de l’apnée (pour 4 mois tout du moins). Le nodule détecté l’an dernier n’apparaît plus. Allez salut, see you never, amas de cellules non identifié. . . Toujours pas de retrait de PAC en vue mais bon, on cohabite sans encombres alors ça me va. . . Une oncologue au top qui a su être à l’écoute et me rassurer/m’informer sur la maladie. . .
