EeL my beloved! How are you gonna be divorced multiple times and married zero times?? incredible. Putting his insane wacko extremely-sexually-charged-relationship of the CURRENT day (with the Elysium’verse’s own main characters Maci & Tory of course🥰) aside, please pause and rewind to review EeL’s two biggest prior very failed relationships long before the TaKi Fuego trio, compiled through this delightful meme that I’ve had saved to “get around to” since 2024 UH better later than never! what year is it now

🌸EeL and Ev were together through prior years of the Elysium’verse, officially from (real Elysium time) approximately 2012 - though they’d been “friends,” ish, a few years before that - then on and off again until Ev finally called it complete quits for good in 2016/17ish and here we are today. Rane was conceived….. accidentally… shortly AFTER their first break up in 2013.

mess😇 but this is less interesting to me than the NEXT version where::

⚜️If we rewind further we find ourselves an entire lifetime ago, back on Asgard… A LESS FUN VERSION OF THIS MEME. Here before Elysium… before even, you know— YOU KNOW. EeL and Sigyn had been together for [REDACTED YEARS IN ASGARD TIME] - she played stepmom to children Fen, Jör, and Hela up until they were taken - sired twins Vali and Nari……. on accident…….. right thereafter - and then helplessly watched as the Loki she knew began to spiral into someone she didn’t recognize. Balder’s death at his hand (ish lol), against her advices and warnings and pleas, led directly to their sons’ murder at their age of 10, and then she spit in his face and left him forever.

Just another moment to add to the ever growing misery and rage and rage and rage until several years later EeL would finally snap at one specific catalyst (🧊) and explode into a million irreparable pieces of a psychotic breakdown where—

aka EXPOSITION AND NUMB DEFLECTION: THE COMIC; a recap explanation of things to come!

Once again - in the wake of our most recent turns of events (SHH WE’LL GET THERE), working on assembling some choice scenes from the recent few months in Elysium between the Taki Fuego trio, through a series of comics starring all canon dialogue, quick Elysium Drama Update snapshots. Previously - funny comedy hour and banter! But this is an INTERMISSION before returning to the grayscale scribbles - THIS is dialed back EVEN FURTHER…. Allllll the way back to the solemn and serious talk taking place just BEFORE Loki agreed to have a baby with them (it was actually the very literal same convo).

EeL’s deepest psyche re: his deep rooted anxiety and ✨issues✨ are common knowledge to MEEE and Fenixe (and some of you!!) yes, but dragging it all out into the open in this brief window is crucial, I think, to provide some context for some upcoming moments Loki has now shared through his pregnancy with Maci and Tory 🥺 …relevant meme here aHEM.

I’ve certainly written no shortage of essays on tumblr about Loki’s kids in here but in case anyone’s missed those essays: the tragic and traumatic fates of Loki’s (myth!) children Sleipnir, Hela, Fenris, Jormundgandr, Vali & Nari are EXTREMELY canon. and haunt EeL to this day. Even though he’s gotten 4 out of 6 back! Doesn’t change the memories trapped in the story of his past forever! Sleipnir and the trio confiscated by Odin - the twins murdered at Odin’s hands…. And now YOU can painfully remember this too!

yknow. It is always so fun to write EeL’s dialogue but drawing all of this was incredible as well. How do you illustrate the words of someone nonchalant, aloof and clipped and cool, shrugging within his protective haughty shell like “none of this is a big deal, don’t be silly”…. while already beginning to twitch on the inside?

How do you illustrate the monologue of a traumatized liar (affectionate)???🥺🥺🥺🥺 AUGH

😌 Well the tragic backstory reminder may have made Maci cry but HE’S fine, Pft don’t be ridiculous. Boy this definitely isn’t going to have any emotional repercussions within the near future probably! haha!🤪hhhahahhahh

welcome to an Elysium Drama Update tHAT IVE BEEN VAGUING AND HYPING ABOUT FOR THREEEEEEEE MONTHS 😱 yes you ARE reading this correctly! After all this time of spiraling deeper and deeper RECENTLY and after the VERY long tumultuous past of the previous decade-ish - the Taki Fuego Trifecta Trio (their tag here) is HAVING AN ENTIRE BABY BY CHOICE AND ON PURPOSE— oh mmmmYYYY GGGGGGGOD—

All five of these illustrations feature completely canon dialogue dating back from January when they first started trying for a baby. now that Loki finally confirmed that he’s actually pregnant a few weeks ago - clearly out loud and in words - it is finally time to reveal this news to all of YOU!

Congratulations YOU are now part of a select few! NO ONE ELSE IN THE PALACE KNOWS YET.

The baby Loki is now incubating is sired by Tory!! with Maci of course knowingly and delightedly pulling all puppet strings “behind the scenes” aka like, to the left of them or whatever on the bed.💞How did this even fucking happen you may be asking??!!! They went from fun bedroom dynamic to let’s have an entire babBY?!?! Well- just like the way these playfully suggestive drawings (every one of these convos took place during…… during. uhhhhhhhhhh) are slyly ambiguous in the way I chose to draw them - let me explain the decision of this baby in the same,, extremely sanitized way:::

Maci and Tory.,,, will say.,,, literally anything. And During one such occasion,, it dawned on Loki - and them too, honestly — suddenly with a full record scratch that — wait are you actually being serious?? WAIT DO YOU *ACTUALLY* WANT A—

As nudged upon here and also in my many recent lore essays, please remember that Loki’s ~antsy~ when it comes to his pregnancies and history of children; due to the prior tragedies that had befallen the first six he’s always made it a habit of just vanishing, paranoid and anxious, each time he’s found himself pregnant. However Maci and Tory unequivocally and wholeheartedly asking him to make a baby with them because 💞love💞 and 💞lust💞 and 💞clingy vibes💞- again LITERALLY the first EVER baby ON PURPOSE EVER- was enough to IMMEDIATELY make him go starry eyed. Even though over these past few months since Tory first initiated the talk Loki had…. Still has……. refused to admit that and continued to be his usual vaguely hostile and suspicious self but….

As of today he’s six weeks pregnant (he can always, magically, tell right away) and he has not yet disappeared.in fact he hasn’t even left their BED or their SIDE in THREE MONTHS. 🥺 mhy god hellO., Loki you’re so full of shit and they’re onto you. Maybe stop blushing so much.

and so now begins the countdown to NEW MYSTERY BABY and the shenanigans that will follow; ONCE AGAIN I am FLOORED and THRILLED and WATCHING all this with my jaw on the FLOOR. ‼️they’re not a throuple this is just uhh fun things to do with your platonic friends!‼️ (oh my god I’m gonna lose my mind for fucking real—)

more (E)LokiKid posting oh I am so serious when I say this is ALL I can think about right now — here’s the other post I just made — none of these are in order at all I’m just doing things randomly AHHH—

Hela, Loki’s eldest daughter - and Kiddo Number Two in the Elysiumverse lineup! (also one of th only two out of the entire Lokikid pile who hasn’t been able to move into the palace) I’ve only drawn her like twice before this post but here’s a current status Hela & one quick squishy baby snapshot :’))c

like Vali n’ Nari in the prev post, plus also her full siblings Fen n’ Jör, she’s one of the handful of Elysium Lokikids plucked straight over from mythology (and of course. Edited in our standard Elysiumverse fashion uwuuu.) to recap - Hela was half-dead while she was born and continued to decompose half down the center of her body….. forever and ever , perpetually growing and then rotting and then growing and then rotting. she was forcibly separated from mom Loki at the age of 14/15ish, along with her younger brothers - her fate was to be thrown into isolation within Niflheim, Norse land of the dead. she did at least become its Queen!

Hela’s only appeared in the canon Elysiumverse in the form of kiddo flashbacks during Loki’s Memory Theater when he’d first arrived, and offscreen. years after her banishment, she was horrified to find the ripped apart souls of her baby half brothers floated into her realm - she’d patched them back together and kept them safe with her, until word came many years after THAT that Loki was alive but in another realm of the dead. Tory, prince of course of that Underworld, requested Vali and Nari be transferred over to reunite with their father…. and Hela too, with her mother, if she wanted.

Hela sent her brothers to him but declined the invite…… despite missing Loki terribly, Hela as an adult had become quite attached to her realm. Beyond the inherent threat of course of defying Odin’s banishment, she feels she’s got an obligation to it and won’t ever leave 💔

…..She is easily one of the coolest Elysium characters and it’s such a shame that she doesn’t fully exist onscreen in it fgkfkf wELL ANYWAY!! more Lokikids maybe to come idk??? take this in the meantime! SHE!!
