If you EVER think Anthony Head is anything less than an angel then you’d best remember that I have always been a huge fan of his and we’ve always had a little contact over the years and he heard I’d come out as Trans and was having a hard time and that I was kind of sad that the photos I had from conventions with him were of me with long hair and no binder and they were all signed to “Sarah” and so he invited me to spend the day with him at his farm and he picked me up from the station and we just hung out and had lunch and he insisted on paying and took loads of photos and had them printed on photo paper the same day so he could sign them to Jay, along with other photos of him as Giles and Uther and he literally spent five hours chatting with me and got all of the pronoun stuff right every time and then he dropped me off at the station, gave me a final massive hug, waved me through the ticket barrier and insisted I message him when I got home so he knew I got back safe. I wonder if we'll ever see a movie monster as artistically fresh as the xenomorph was. Even decades later, every other pop cultire monster still feels derivative of earthly biology, with a natural looking exoskeleton or meaty flesh.

Giger's biomechanical aesthetic managed to make even this humanoid entity look completely foreign to our world. It always looked to me like a midway point between a corpse and a motorcycle. And you definitely get the impression that it's only human shaped because it gestated in a human host.

Any square you could cut from the whole design could still be identified as part of The Alien or at least Giger's work. The same size square from most other monsters is more likely to be a meaningless patch of elephantlike skin or raw meat. Surely there are other unique styles out there though???

*the big long ones are just meant to be Chal's and Maci's (hers is still a WIP) in the grand scheme of things, to be perfectly honest, like idk when the hell im getting to add the 20 year backstory narratives to anyone else ; then Røkia's is medium length; BUT!!!

I realized while I'm making Art Fight profiles its uh, mostly all the same core information as the Toyhouse layouts i've been using minus the lengthy backstories so why not just.... transpose those over...... extra fun and shareable for anyone who doesnt have an AF account... plus then i get to add more pics and some teensy bonus details :')) SO, CURRENTLY::

Enodia! Pyralis! Celos !!!

aka N AND THE GREML-ENS catch them in a couple years in their teen punk rock band (JOKING but also—)

ITS THE TRIPLE BIRTHDAY CASCADE!!! These three little guys are somehow FIVE YEARS OLD THIS WEEK?!?!?!?! Py’s birthday was yesterday June 1; it’s N’s birthday today June 2; and Celos’ birthday is tomorrow June 3!

It remains the funniest ever that the identical twins are an ENTIRE DAY apart: due to what ended up being a canceled adoption, friendly reminder Tory was the one who gave birth to not only his two sons here but also to N, who was originally magicked over into his pregnancy so Tory could raise her instead of Chal and Bel… then Chal and Bel changed their minds. Five years later… FIVE YEARS LATER????????

Even though the parentages split back, these three form one of those fun Greek deity Triads for sure. no one knows what that will someday mean, though! But it does mean for now that they’re still best buddies :3 N is usually sweet and sociable and outgoing and friendly, and she’s also a contact empath, which means when she hangs out with the twins and bumps into them, SHE absorbs their insane energy and ALSO turns insane. Oops!!

The twins are: also sweet and sociable 🥺 BUT they’re also little hyperactive riled up gremlins, even worse these days ever since they decided EeL was their favorite parent (?!) and he LOVES to egg on their chaos so they have only increased their insanity. Not shown; the bazillion foot long snake plushie that EeL (they call him Lo 😭) gifted them last year that they drag obnoxiously around EVERYWHERE and get it in everyone’s way as a trip hazard. perfect!!!

Chal is dismayed and annoyed every time N starts bouncing off the walls because of them ffjgkjfgk… but Chal, currently, is generally dismayed at the moment with the shock of suddenly having a five year old. That’s just so crazy!!!! She’s a whole little guy now!!! How the fuck did that even happen!!!!!! What is going on!!!!!
