Who do they envy, and why?

𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐋 : 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐑-𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐒 (every shade tells a story — of what’s been lost, what’s still loved, and what can’t be washed clean.)

( * hinata initially envied those within her class that carried traits she felt like she lacked. whether its how lively they were; how authentic they were; how brave they are. she grew up feeling like her timid &quiet disposition were negative qualities to have, especially as the daughter of a noble clan. she envied those that weren't subjected to training at the caliber that she was growing up, envied those with kinder, supportive families &those that had better relationships with their siblings. there was a lot envy she felt, but in turn felt guilty for feeling that way, as well.

Lee narrowed his eyes at Kisame. No words were spoken, it was just Lee slowly raising his hand as he shoved a piece of sushi into his mouth without breaking his stare. As he chewed, a teasing and challenging grin spread across his lips.

Was it WISE to make such eye contact with Kisame? While his eyes possessed no power, unlike his partner's, one should be weary when looking into the eyes of a predator. Especially when there was FOOD on the line. Kisame watched the delicious looking piece of sushi disappear into the mouth of the smaller Shinobi.

Well - Kisame had his own sushi. This was a sushi restaurant after all. He kept the eye contact with the other, while he skillfully picked up three pieces with his chopsticks, and shoved them in his mouth. If this was a sushi-eating competition, and he was being challenged, it was GAME ON! He would never lose! / @shinndo .

what do you wish someone would ask you?

[lay in the sun but not sweat and burn. and read and write and then gym and then eat a big piece of meat. preferably all of this can be achieved without getting out of bed at all. HAHA

nothing comes to mind, maybe just “do you wanna hangout” from my close friends is a nice question to hear! i hate catching up over text]

A young Koa had traveled to San Francisco, hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous Ant Man she had heard so many stories about. Finally, she spotted him at a small diner, and her jaw dropped in awe.

After all that waiting, she found herself too shy to speak. But gathering her courage, the little girl slowly approached the man she idolized. Standing beside him, she cleared her throat to get his attention. "Um… excuse me… Mister…?" she asked carefully, her wide, fascinated eyes shining with excitement, as she timidly tapped her fingers together.

"Are you... are you..." the girl stammered, glancing back and forth nervously before looking up at him again from beneath her eyelashes.

"Are you the real Mister Ant Man?"

Mid-bite of his BLT, Scott heard someone clearing their throat beside him, and he looked down to see a little girl standing beside him. Where did she come from? Was she alone?

He swallowed his bite after she asked her timid question and smiled at her. “Yeah, that’s me,” he answered warmly as he set his sandwich down on the plate. “What’s your name, kiddo?”

answered here! not much i can think of adding except i keep imagining melody sleeping with a stuffed animal (something she never got in her early childhood) and i feel she would like it. one of those weighted microwaveable plushies that you can warm up with when you snuggle it because she would be really comforted by the warmth. only instead of her holding the plushie, the plushie would be holding her :)

a smoll starter for @elphilim .

he sits on the throne, and relaxed. caspian was curious. " what kind of present have you brought me?" the king asks. he got up and walked down the stairs , hands on his side. he crossed his arms and he was curious. he enjoyed receiving presents from new or old friends. though his royal guard was hesitant about this, they are very LOYAL to caspian, and the king appreciates it.

Who grounds your muse when they start to spiral?

𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐋 : 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐑-𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐒 (every shade tells a story — of what’s been lost, what’s still loved, and what can’t be washed clean.)

( * her teammates !! they are her ride or dies. when she panics, when she's downhearted on herself, there isn't a moments hesitation where those two + akamaru haven't tried to get her out of her head when she messes up &shuts down. their encouragement in trying to boost her confidence has only helped make her feel safe and seen. sometimes its words, sometimes an embrace or a snuggle session from akamaru !! also, a shoutout to naruto ( perhaps in moments where these two do connect more often than what was shown in canon ) as he undoubtedly made a big impact on her character when she was literally spiraling. his yell at the chunin exams literally woke her up when she was getting verbally and psychologically pummeled by neji. his voice, out of frustration for her knowing what its like to be looked down on, set herself in motion to face her biggest opp at that time. as well, there are other times where she gets in her head &he was quick to notice and shut that thought down like, hey, you're strong !! i can see it in your eyes !! and i think hinata needed that reminder.

melody carries the expectation that her past will be amended, that when she comes back home her father will be there and everything will go back to how it was except with a little more goodness to it in the form of bringing new friends along. there’s pain meanwhile in considering that something more dreadful happened to him, and that she won’t be able to return to her previous life, whether because she may not be able to go back to that facility, let alone find it, or because that solitary, private life may not fit her anymore.

so she doesn’t consider it! nope, nothing could happen to my dad, no way! melody may have some moments of vulnerability where the worries and yearning get larger in her head, but she can always push it down in favor of being hopeful for the most dreamlike scenario.
