their hand is warm; a bit clammy to the touch. they're really not used to the temperatures here compared to their much colder homeland. they must be suffering so much! hinata's fanning quickens, causing herself to warm up a bit.

" f-final rites? let's see .. " she laughs under her breath, amused by their surprisingly theatrical nature. " here lies haku-san, defeated by the unrelenting heatwave. may their spirit return shortly once it cools in the evening! "

( * i'm sorry i've been complaining so much about my current situation. the way it just ... escalated from 0 to 100 is absolutely insane to me. sending me emails about " if we do not see immediate results moving forward we will move to a professional PIP with HR" its already over for me. if anything, it is not about my work per say or the "quality" of it, but an absolute control of my behavior ( camera on, reply to all my emails / acknwoledge, empathetic replies, keep calendar open, be receptive without pushback etc ) for the last 3 months in their eyes ( which is funny to me cause of the last 3 years there has been little to no issue with any of my behaviors / how to write my emails / but new management is mad i'm not being her little kiss ass so !!! ). i'm already trying to look elsewhere. i just feel so betrayed and ambushed by everything. my mind has been so wrapped up in trying to 1.) get out ASAP / 2.) work on my resume 3.) do my work keep my head down 4.) try not to snap at the wrong person. i cried finally yesterday because of how frustratingly crazy this is.
