I am new to the fandom and this is the first time I am sending a question. I hope it gets to you. I love Elriel so much and I hope they end up together.

My question is: What is angry potatoes? I've seen Gwynriels use this term and I have no idea what that means and if it's connected to Elain or Elriel? I hope it's not too weird of a question. Thank you.

Hi! You are so sweet and so polite. Welcome to the fandom. Always happy to have another Elriel around.

'Angry potatoes' is what Gwyniels call Elriels. It's supposed to be an offensive term, derived from the roasted potato scene in ACOSAF, where Azriel took the heavy dish of potatoes from Elain and forbade everyone from eating until she took her place at the table.

Apparently Elriels place too much importance and emphasis on this scene, and therefore, at some point, Gwyniels coined this 'derogatory' term of 'Angry Potatoes' for us.

I for one, and all the Elriels I know, adore potatoes. Fried, mashed, roasted, buttered, jacket, stuffed, baked and boiled. Any potato is a good potato.

A concept: Azriel comes home from a mission to find Elain sprawled on their bed in cobalt blue lingerie

I have a headcanon that he brings her cobalt lingerie from every trip he takes.

So she's got all kinds of pieces, from every continent, country and court.

Some are absolutely scandalous and others are big granny nightgowns. And Azriel never knows what she is going to wear.

Now, my other HC is that the first time she sees a thong, she doesn't know how to wear it and wears it back to front.

Azriel doesn't object.
