A piece I made for Elwensa’s well known comic New Soul*. I can’t wait to do some more on this story some day! I used water dolors for this one.

*New Soul is an ongoing comic on Twitter and DeviantArt. It features Henry, Bendy and the Drew Crew in their battle against the Ink Machine. But this isn’t easily done, for it requires strange new powers, trust that must be earned and kept among the characters, lost and found memories and a lot of emotions... A highly recommended story, with a lot of equally touching side works and art!

Nayia, what are your favourite BATIM's AU, and your favourite authors/designers?

Well, that's a very difficult and somewhat dangerous question. I like a lot of creators for various reasons - because I like their style, their idea for AU, or 'cause other thing. I also like many universes. I don't want to hurt anyone by omitting, but it would be possible if I started making a list. And the list would be long (which is why I still haven't answered the BATIM favourite comic list question, sorry XD) In ​​principle, all creators whose accounts I follow, or like, or comment their works may consider themselves to be included in my favourite artists/AUs list.

But I pondered this question. And I decided to choose ONE person and their AU. One person who is just great in my eyes, and I really enjoy reading the next fragments of the history of alternative universum...

At the outset, I will highlight something... I'm not an uncritical reader. I see imperfections - both fabular (e.g. deficiencies in the plot logic) and workshop (e.g. no backgrounds or anatomical errors). Yes, in my own arts also. I'm aware of my own mistakes and errors. And others. I don't point out them, 'cause I know that most creators are aware of their imperfections, and it's never nice to have a pointed finger at them (that's why I always ask you, for example, not to pay attention to the fact that my straight lines in my drawings are usually so curved, as if I couldn't afford the usual ruler). Nevertheless, I can see them and in almost every creator I read/watch, I could find something like that. On the occasion of this question, however, I started to wonder if there is an artist I had nothing to complain about. Whose creativity impresses me, whose plot has no logical gaps, and who (which is also important) is a nice person to whom I will gladly leave a comment, 'cause I know that they will not laugh at me or my poor English. And yes, there is such a creator.

That's why my answer is Elwensa and her New Soul AU.

I love her drawing style. I love the attention to detail and the amazing psychological study of the characters, paying attention to details that no one has paid attention to before. Very human and natural relationships. The fact that each character is distinctive not only in appearance, but also in character. From the visual side, the next pages are very polished, just small works of art. From the fictional side - we have a great story, the details of which are gradually revealed to us. Perhaps I could pick on one imperfect thing about her - non-chronological posting of the plot. The comics set in the Studio are read a bit differently, when you already know that Allison, Tom and Sammy will not leave this damn place - it hurts a bit. But this is the only drawback of this creator.

So if I had to choose one and only one creator and their AU, it would be Elwensa from New Soul. Everyone else I read, follow, and comment on may consider them to be on honored second place ^ ^

(I don't think I offended anyone in this way - anyone who reads Elwensa's comic for a while will probably agree with me that it's great and deserves an exceptional treatment, right?)

hiiii. im new here. i dont know how to use this platform so some help would be great. just have been reading a bunch of bendy and the in machine au, oc. this one is from the  Elwensa  from deviantart  (bendy and the ink machine new soul) a lot of my art is on amino but now i want to spread out to other platforms. 

im new to digital art so advice would be great. anyway hope u guys like it.

You know, in your FamilyAU, I can see Henry giving Buddy drawing lessons while they wait in the safe house. Would you ever consider drawing that?

I could definitely see that. Actually Elwensà (on Twitter) drew some art for that idea from the AU. It was very wholesome. :)
