In the mountains, hidden under the Earth, legends speak of an ancient warrior's statue, hidden away like the 'Cities' are to the people at the surface. It is said it can only ever be found by the ones who should. When the mists will themselves to lie down.

It's really fun to see just how many (wild) flowers here are either yellow, purple, or both and growing together You literally can't get around this color combi, it's pretty much everywhere. I like the symbolism.

I finished editing one of my older drawings today! It is time to move onto new fun things.
So... Part 2 of the Apritello Kinktober shibari prompt... from 2024, which is when I started this 😅.

I've been sketching out some fun new stuff today and a bit the past few weeks. This is a fun suggestion I got for a pose with the use of battle shell arms 🫢

Am rediscovering the joy of drawing and writing after a long period of not too great health stopping me from doing anything productive in fandom.
In this drawing, we've got April and Donnie (out of sight), sleeping under the covers of a bed, accompanied in a pile with Mayhem, Shelldon, and the first shown T-Hex from that one canceled episode (It's holding Dee's mask in its mouth). I'm still debating on who and/or what else to add.

Saw a part of Project Hail Mary last Friday (unfortunately was way too exhausted to watch everything) and sketched out a little scene tonight, except it's Donnie watching April sleep on her ship, to 'keep her safe'.

Already did post a couple wips of this one before, I know, but I still like this phase I had for it, so here is the particular piece in full, before I messed up with the coloring and haven't touched it since 😅.
Future Donnie and Present April (6 years post Krang invasion) under her apartment window at night, where he was accidentally (and temporarily) transported, and now they both have some questions and stories they never knew...
Feel free to view this situation however you like 👍. It does not at all have to be romantic, I'm cool with both.
I created this as part of an Apritello fic of mine, that started out from another old drawing I did and got carried away with (in the good way. I often can build stories well especially when I'm working on art).
Future x Past fics don't really exist as far as I've seen for these two. Including this one, I now have 2 in the making. Both completely different cicumstances, but they are fun and challenging to play around with. Some day I will get to press that upload button and I already can't wait 😶🌫️

In which April and Donnie both have to hide under water from some nasty foe hunting for them at the surface, and Donnie helps April out because she can not hold her breath underwater, like he can, as a mutant. He will NOT let her drown!
...And that's where feelings come in. Life or death situations that get a little closer than intended but sure do very potentially speed some things up for even more very potential romance...
I never turned this art into a story and never had plans to, but I did find one fic, last year, that has a similar survival theme going on and is a very good, intense, lovely read: Respiration, published in 2022, by RevenantCarnival.
