say hi to a hearthian solar system au! the idea popped in my head back in august when i made the drawings for this post and thought 'hey, what if instead of cosplay this was their actual home' and everything derailed from there.

each planet has its specificities and each population has its quirks and its own assets it either shares or trades with the rest of the solar system.

the hatchling now gets to not only discover new planets but also the people living there, as their role of emissary doubles as an archeological and a diplomatic mission ::-)

Gabbro is probably casually solving quantum calculation, while Riebeck, an excellent archeologists, lacks some space travel basics. Thank the stars, Chert is here to answer questions.

And so, this is how all the 'out of the hammock adventures' would start!

I think both Feldspar and Hatchy would be similar in many ways. I think hanging out with Hatchy would remind Gabbro of feldspar. And I think that this was one of the first times Gabbro offered to go somewhere, instead of being dragged around.

I think Hatchy understood that Gabbro prefers their hammock, so they'd try dragging Chert or Riebeck along with them. But after many loops where they kept forgeting everything that happened, hatchy's resolve wore down, and they decided going solo was best. That is, until they hit a road block, and their determination started wavering. Seeing their buddy starting to break made Gabbro want to try and reach out.
