Any idea why Dobson stopped drawing the Blue Bear with the hat and glasses? we all know the bear clearly symbolizes himself, and...he wears glasses. Since he doesn't seem to go out in public anymore, he may or may not wear the hat anymore, so maybe that's why?

Well, he still draws him with glasses occasionally, but as for the hat...

Keep in mind he’s not saying he IS one, he’s just making sure everyone knows how horrified he is that people would think he is.

That comic about Dobson being afraid to bring his ideas out just shows how he's all in it for the attention. It's not a genuine creative spirit that motivates him, he just wants people to pat him on the ass and tell him how much they like him. If it was about the art, he would just put it out there instead of worrying so much over it's reception.

While I definitely agree that Dobson only cares about attention(he’s made multiple posts and comments that confirm as much), I will say that that doesn’t mean that other people who feel the way he describes in the comic are the same. People can feel scared to post thing because they feel it will either be ignored(which means then think that their art is unremarkable), or that it’ll be mocked(which makes them feel like it’s not worth their time to draw because they’re bad at it).

I don’t personally believe there’s anything wrong with worrying about what other people think of your art or even expressing that fear. There’s just a difference between people who genuinely have issues dealing with small forms of rejection...and people like Dobson who are only out to satiate their own ego so they can “prove the trolls wrong”.

The fact that he talks about being afraid to express himself less than a day after his angry ranting about Quiet or telling women or minorities they’re uninformed and stupid about how women and minorities are being treated really shows what he’s really after, as you said.

Why I Wrote the E-mails

 Hi, F7 the E-mail Anon here. So, if you wanted to know, here's why I e-mailed Dobson, and my final thoughts. 

As I've stated, I genuinely did feel insulted by his 'I can't grow up, I don't have enough money!' comment. That's....just completely absurd, and yes, I feel it's an insult to previous generations, as well as people in this generation who ARE working their asses off, and HAVE grown up. Dobson, however, truly does not seem to understand what this phrase means. Nor does he understand the word 'narcissistic', 'childish' or 'straw man.' But then, is it any wonder when all those things represent him? Did I think I would make a difference? Absolutely not. But given how he treats people, I guess my curiosity got the best of me for what he might do.

I didn't expect Dobson to personally reply, and he didn't, but he did post....well, something, as I thought he might. I've pointed out how he doesn't try to defend himself that much, although he did outright LIE about my e-mail; 'He's putting words in my mouth with things I never said!', or misrepresented what I said; 'why do people keep trying to debate me?!' By the way....what people? WHO keeps trying to 'debate' him? He wouldn't answer that either. 

And that's why I kept mailing him; he LIED or purposely MISREPRESENTED what I said. And....isn't that exactly what Dobson accuses OTHER people of doing to HIM? If he would have never said anything, I would not have continued. And that's a sign that he just wanted the attention (another thing I was accused of doing); most people would probably NOT have responded to my mail, or if they did, would not have PUBLICLY talked about it. So why did Dobson feel the need to? As far as I know, he doesn't discuss ANY other mail he gets, and he claims he gets 'hundreds' of e-mails 'every day'. He didn't seem interested in the second and third e-mails, so....why would he bother mentioning mail he thought was boring? Exactly. For attention. 

One thing I learned is, even some of Dobson's few supporters he has are batshit. Seriously, I was genuinely surprised hearing some of their comments. And keep in mind, they commented on two e-mails they didn't even SEE the entirety of. So how do they know what to feel about them?? Does Dobson actually have some die-hard, blind followers? That's scary. I do appreciate Dobson telling one of them he does not approve of spamming so he would not release my e-mail. So thanks for that! But the fact that he HAS a fan willing to do that....based on ONE 'rambling' e-mail, and two non-telling paragraphs is in itself bothersome...

I do feel sorry for any fans Dobson does have. Unless you agree with him 100% or dump praise all over him, no, you CAN'T talk to him about ANYTHING. As this blog has shown, even fans who honestly tried to help him, he STILL treats like shit. FANS. This is a man who is not appreciative of his fans, and I don't feel deserves any. He wants you to just shut up, maybe praise him, and give him money. all so he can 'grow up,' supposedly. Why he is any kind of public figure, I don't understand. He doesn't WANT to deal with the public. Except to yuk it up with his few fans when mocking someone, which is high school bullshit, or to tell them to fuck off. He's clearly got no problem publicly telling people to fuck off. Otherwise, he doesn't WANT to discuss ANYTHING with you. 

Now, he COULD have responded differently to my e-mail. He could have EXPLAINED himself, and done it with dignity and respect. But he chose not to. He doesn't feel people deserve it. And he wonders why people don't grant HIM any. 

I admit, the psychologist in me found this fascinating to watch. Unfortunately, it lead to nothing but circling like water in a toilet bowl. For Dobson, that's very appropriate. 

So, no, I won't mail him again. We'll never know why he found my and my father's possible ages so amusing. But we do know, he doesn't understand what it means to truly 'grow up,' and I doubt ever will.

Hi, it's the Email writer again. So I decided to help Dobson out by pointing out everything he got wrong in his response. And look how he responded to this one! Uh, I wasn't TRYING to debate him. Notice that immediate accusation. Also, no, he clearly didn't just "hit delete". So. That's a lie off the bat. And no, I don't think I'm "entitled to his time". But why does he keep giving it though? =P

Man, he’s on a roll these days with “lol look at this dumb out of context post calling me out. I’m totally not mad lol”. Let’s see how it went this time...

It rather convenient that he didn’t bother to actually screencap the email this time. Almost as if he knew that if his fans saw it, he’d be exposed for being a giant prick. “Entitled to my time”, like your time is that important, Dobson.
