I know it’s really easy to think that Democrats aren’t doing anything, but I promise that’s not the case

The “amen and awoman” thing is stupid and deserves to be called out but everyone seems to be ignoring the much larger issue with the prayer. The representative who made the prayer, Emanuel Cleaver, took the time to invoke a general  “monotheistic god,” “Brahma,” (a Hindu god), and the “god who is known by many different names in many different faiths.” Normally I would take that as a leftist being a leftist but Cleaver, is a supposed to be a Christian minister and made the effort to invoke multiple gods other than the one he claims to follow.  “Amen and awoman” a the least of the problems here.
