Emanuelson: I saw Ibrahimovic throw Gattuso in the dustbin
Former AC Milan player Urby Emanuelson has revealed the extent of Zlatan Ibrahimovicâs strong character, stating he once put Gennaro Gattuso in the dustbin.
The trio featured for the Rossoneri the last time they won the Scudetto in 2011, and the Dutchmen touched on an interesting moment involving the towering Swede.
âIbra did some strange things,â he told Voetbal International. âOne time we were in the dressing room and he was joking with Gattuso.
âHe [Gattuso} had a big mouth, and he said something that he shouldnât have, so Ibra put him in the dustbin.
âGattuso was physically strong, but Ibra was even stronger. We always laughed with the Swede. He was arrogant at times but thatâs how he was.â
Ibrahimovic netted 14 goals in Milanâs Scudetto winning campaign back in 2010/2011. Gattuso featured in 31 league matches, while Emanuelson appeared in just nine.
