I'm so delighted that of the 2 asks I got for this meme, both of them involved Leiukken! I've now already answered the asks for relationships for him here, so here's FACTS:

- What do they always carry?

Leiukken is NEVER seen out without his gorget, and he rarely removes it even in intimate company. There's some cultural implications of this about how he wants to be seen, and how his version of intimacy is only so deep, but it, uh, it also might be an enchanted piece of +1 armor so... He might also just not trust people he's boning not to possibly try to stab him. Has that ever happened? Probably not. Has he had to consider it a possibility? Maybe.

Aside from that, he carries a set of sending stones on his person at literally all times. At least one of them has been fashioned into an earring, which stays on even on those rare occasions that the gorget comes off.

- Any things that are super important to them?

For objects, the earring. He has some relatively meager possessions (relative to expectations, at least) collected in his apartment-- some books of poetry, clothes, a music box from his childhood. He also has a locked chest full of [redacted].

For not objects: His sense of right and wrong, and of duty, inherited from his mother. The people of Elden. A friendship from his teen years that has given him a lot of complicated feelings for the past decade. His closest friends. Also, of course, [redacted].

- What languages do they know?

Leiukken knows the Grand Word and Script, Grand Sign, both spoken and runic Draconic (Embalar edition), and Thieves' Cant. He knows a handful of words of Swiftscript. He's been taught a select few deliberately chosen words of the Keeper's False Tongue and Claw (for emergencies).

- Favorite smell?

Most of his favorite foods aren't particularly fragrant, but he's partial to hot cider, baked goods with honey, beeswax, and roses. He's an elen cliché in this one specific way

RELATIONSHIPS - Whatever I can legally say for Leiukken without spoilers:

- Do they want a relationship? (qpr or not, it doesn’t matter!)

For multiple reasons (social and political position/situation, being grey/demiromantic, keeping people at arms length, plus of course [redacted]) romantic relationships are something he doesn't really consider an option to be worth pining after. Very rarely he gets punched in the face with the dreaded Romantic Feelings and has to... manage that on top of everything else. Does he WANT that relationship? Yes. Does he WANT to want that relationship or think it's viable or have plans to pursue it at this time, things being as they are? Hahahahahaaaaa no.

As for non romantic relationships, there are a few select people who's company he values above others, and who he'd be, you know, mentally worse off without. But he also didn't seek out those relationships, they were mostly accidental and now he's stuck with them.

There's ONE [redacted type of] relationship he unequivocally Does want though...

- Do they have a lot of friends, or not so many?

Only a few, very select individuals who've scammed their way into his heart despite all odds. More people LIKE Leiukken than can truly call themselves his friends. He routinely bends over backwards to solve the problems of the city and kingdom he hails from. What's more uncommon is people who don't ask for anything from him, or who try to help him in return.

- Do they get attached easily? Or are they more closed off?

It takes extra strength adhesive (like, ILLEGALLY dangerously sticky) to get Leiukken to be attached to anything but what he considers his responsibilities. Those who've managed it tend to be people who surprise him (as mentioned above, by not needing anything from him or by offering to help HIM), [redacted] people because [redacted], and kids.

- Are they the type that’s like “in three minutes you’ll know my life story.” ? Or are they the type that’s like “you won’t know anything about me until fifty years from now.” ?

With Leiukken it's a balance. He's free and easy with surface facts about himself, and will trade personal details to learn more about other people and gain trust, but there are definitely things that he would NEVER let slip for ANYTHING. It's a little startling to him how many of his usual bargaining chips the party already pried out of him.

FACTS - for Dawn:

- What do they always carry?

Well... before getting disintegrated and resurrected back into their own body, back when they were hitching a ride in Dusk, they used to carry around one of the horns from their, uh, their own corpse. It was their spell focus. They also always carried around the journal that they and Dusk wrote back and forth with. But that got zapped too. Nowadays they keep a metal (sun shaped) talisman to the Cloaked One as a spell focus.

- Any things that are super important to them?

For material objects: The horn was quite important to them back when they had it, but it's gone now. They're pretty attached to their new aesthetic of cute day dresses and scarves, which definitely takes after one of Jita's #Looks. They may not be aware that they're copying, but they are.

In general, stories are really important to them, as is their faith.

- What languages do they know?

The Grand Word and the Grand Script, as well as Toothmark.

- Favorite smell?

I had to check in with them for this, and the answers I got were: Morning dew on grass, grilling steak, and Boys.

- Favorite songs?

They love romantic ballads from old plays, especially ones with pining, but where they end up together.

- Favorite animal?

Carrion devils (aka Tasmanian Devils, Embalar edition)

what do they always carry? OVERWHELMING PERSONAL INSECURITY AND GUILT A small chunk of crystal roughly carved into a vague bird shape (their spell focus). It's the one thing that will always be on their person, even while sleeping. While awake, you'll pry their spellbook, the other records of Important Evidence we've gathered, and their map case from their cold dead(er) hands.

any things that are super important to them? Without their spell focus and spellbook they can't cast effectively, but on top of that, the source of their focus is... certainly significant. It came from the same place as Gob.

what languages do they know? Only Common plus Grand Song and Grand Chime, their people's 'closed' languages. Technically they were allowed to know at least one more than that on character creation, but I didn't think they SHOULD know any others at the time. Of course, now they're trying to pick up Grand Sign.

favorite smell? They won't tell me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

favorite songs? They're going to tell you that they HATE music, but despite being ornery about the subject, they have preferences. When they were little, probably something their father wrote or performed. Lately they're getting fond of Jita's favorite few pieces, the way that you can wind up getting into a song in a genre you don't usually like if you hear it often enough or in a context that hits you emotionally. Earworm shit.

favorite animal? Ptarmigans. SO round, SO stupid sounding... so tasty. It's not clear what their spell focus is supposed to be because the carving is really shitty, but if you squint it MIGHT be a Ptarmigan...
