Negative Review: Embereye (#141396)
Who: Embereye (#141396)
What: Gen1 Auctions
Why: Shady dealings
When: Various throughout sept/oct 2015
Explain: Embereye continuously ignores snipe guard limits and when they do follow them, they wait till the very last minute to activate them. They also often use excuses when you try to explain to them that they have missed the snipe guard, and have been known to PM the seller asking for special leniencies. They also often transfer gen1s they have just bought elsewhere (within 24 hours) of buying them from an auction. There is some suspicion by myself and a few others that embereye is actually the same as the banned hawkeye. The two accounts were made within a day of each other, the two users often use the same excuses, neither followed the snipe guards but kept insisting it was because they’d only been in a couple auctions (even though they had been around the gen1 boards before), they use the same speech pattern, and Embereye only became active when Hawkstone was banned. They have been known to be slow to pay and have caused sellers to hold dragons on auctions that did not have holds set.
(BOTH of the following auction links are from auctions set up by asher, their authenticity can be found by searching “ice/white/obs hawkstone” and “obs/sun/obs embereye” in google.. there are way more links I can add as proof but these are just a few)
Mod: Added links for the auctions above.
http://prntscr.com/8uya1r them begging auctioneer who has already declined payment plan to let them. http://prntscr.com/8uy9ut proof of vernacular similarity. http://prntscr.com/8uya6r instance where they “almost missed” an auction (they later tried to bid on that same auction and bid after the snipe guard). http://prntscr.com/8uybin more begging. http://prntscr.com/8uyerg and http://prntscr.com/8uyerg vernacular, same begging style. More links from embereye specific auctions can be found if needed.
Mod: More info is always good.
