The second hat I’ve embroidered! The first one I made was for me personally, and says “cat mom!” I had actually forgotten how hard it is to embroider hats! I think this one turned out nicely though!

Hey guys!

Alongside taking writing commissions to make some money, I’m also trying to sell my embroidery hoops! I have a small back-stock of some that did not sell on my Etsy. I also take commissions for personal hoops, and all the hoops I’ve made before can be found on my embroidery blog, in case you need an idea of what I’m capable of making.

Because I can’t work due to my mental illness, these are the only ways I can make any money!

Sadly I had to shut my Etsy down because it was costing me more money than it was making me, and it became stressful to keep up with. Instead, my hoops are listed on both Mercari and Depop!

If you can’t buy a hoop/commission that’s okay! A share goes a long way!

Some progress pictures of the cardinal embroidery! I’m using four pieces of thread for filling in the bird, whereas for the branch I used six! I think it’ll make a nice contrast between the branch and the bird.

A little Mimikyu embroidery I did! Mimikyu is my favorite pokemon of all time and it was so fun to embroider this little guy. For a little while I regretted not filling him in but the longer I look at him I kind of like how he looks!

A recent hoop I did! When I saw this rainbow dot fabric I knew I had to make a pride hoop! I love how bright the pattern is. I actually have extra of this fabric and am trying to figure out what else I’d like to embroider!

I know it’s not exactly the season but here’s a hoop that I procrastinated for... months, lol. Now it’s finally done! I love how it turned out and I’m really glad the yellow came out as vivid as it did! I have a whole bunch more of this fabric that I have to use up, though. It’s very hard to embroider on because the fabric is so dark but the end result is worth it!

A little WIP of a commission for a friend! I’m sort of thread-painting, but experimenting with a full piece of thread instead of using a very thin piece of thread. I kind of like the texture that it’s giving!
