“CB&Q SD9 #348 is attached to another SD9 near the engine house. Since so many of these units spent time around the part of the BN where I worked, and since many wore this paint scheme in the ‘Q’ days, a well lit photo of one seems appropriate. It looks a bit ragged, but the ‘Q’ hauled a lot of freight with these in the ‘EVERYWHERE WEST’ country.”
